To be fair to Cundy, he always speaks well of spurs and loves MoPo, he said if they sold Costa he'd go after Kane but also said they wouldn't have a chance of signing him. I actually like Cundy.

* I heard this on talksport a few days ago

He'd lose credibility as a pundit in a heartbeat if he spoke ill of Poch though. From a neutral standpoint, and even from a rival's standpoint, no one can deny that what the man has done is spectacular. Furthermore, all Englishmen should be a fan, as no single person in the game is doing more for England football at the moment than our Argentine.
Cundy is always fighting our corner. Dele, Kane, Dembele, Walker, Rose, Toby and Poch he is always saying things about, bigging them up.

Did you not read what he said in that article?
A proper club with proper ambition, hmmm
A fkn two bob outfit who employ mercenaries who when some fk knows clubs outta China wave more cash at them they have a hissy fit
Not too mention last season when they basically downed tools to get rid of the manager
If this ever happens at Tottenham I'm done
With the players involved I couldn't support them

Liverpool fans are the worse because no matter how many times we finish above them they still live in denial about being one of the best teams in the world and look at us like we are nothing even when we are 2 points behind them on Friday. I hate the arrogance when they have nothing to arrogant about.

And then you also have all the BBC and Sky Sports pundits that are ass kissers of Liverpool as well.

At least Arsenal fans are more realistic because they do finish above us every season.

Cundy, is a Chelsea fan mate, used to go with his dad, had his dream come true playing for them. Of course he will want his team to sign them. I heard him talking about it on talksport on the sports bar. Its not his opinion on what they will do. He knows Spurs will never sell them, It's just what he wants as a fan.

I do love Redcafe, They don't go full RAWK, they go full Kanye.

Dele Alli is an outstanding talent BUT... Paul Pogba is a level above and could one day win a Ballon 'dor.
Pogba, Mata, Martial, Mkhitaryan and even Pereira has been fantastic for Grenada!

So many backhanded compliments. They cannot handle being below us, just imagine they have a barren spell as long as Liverpools. :)

I actually heard when he said it. It was tongue in cheek imo as he was trying to wind up Andy Goldstein. Andy actually went further and said the Cundy had changed his tune as he was more always complImentary of Spurs

Who said he wasn't? Show me where any one said he was Spurs fan. Admiring another club and their manager doesn't mean he is not a Chelsea fan or supporter!

Who said he wasn't? Show me whet any one said he was Spurs fan. I have a soft spot for Brighton, does stop me from being a Spurs supporter?

Was replying to this "Cundy's a Chavski shill, he used to work for Chelsea TV, of course he thinks we should sell the Chavs our crown jewels." From the previous page, forgot to quote it. Just saying Cundy is a massive fan and he was just stating what he wants for his club. Just like any of us.

Just a note that you can believe or not believe as you decide - but I know, personally, that Cundy hates Spurs and has done ever since his brief time with us. Partly because he's a Chelsea fan, and partly because he was total shite for us and got dogs abuse from the stands whenever he played.

Of course he was shit where ever he played and always injured - the guy had less than 150 professional appearances in his "career".

He knows a decent team, but he can't stand the club or the fans.

Just visited that RedCafe link. Im amazed its now the top6. When Liverpool and Utd were in it, it was only referred to as the Top4. Even the pundits referred to it as the top4 they too call it the top6.

So when the big boys fall just enlargen the group. Now i wonder if Uefa will enlargen the CL representatives from each country.

Any of the top 6 can win the league. Very different to the 90's to 00's.

All true but I think he's a lot fairer to us than merson. I always hear him sing our praises.

Based on much of this season and the games they are talking about, these were fair comments. I got people getting all ansy with me for saying something similar. Claiming Alli has scored those as a midfielder is disingenuous, many of those games he has been atrociously bumbling around almost as a second striker - certainly contributing very little else in many of those games.

That's not to denigrate his achievements , even as an attacking midfielder, aged 20 his tally is impressive, and the last couple of games have probably been two of his best in a Spurs shirt.

But what those bods were saying isn't outrageous and some if us have said similar.

His average position on heat maps is regularly ahead of Kane

I was out watching the Seahawks / Falcons playoff game last night and was sitting by a QPR fan and a Liverpoool fan....

The QPR fan was from Manchester and he could not stop praising us. Loves watching us play, loves Poch, loves our English core.

The Liverpool fan just sat there with his arms crossed, half listening just waiting for us to talk to him about 'pool but no one did except to talk about how we thought they'd lose tomorrow and how easy they'd had it without CL.

He was visibly irked but just had no response.

It was fantastic.

The thread on RedCafe is unbelievable.

Not only did West Brom apparently not turn up, but neither have all our recent opponents and we've not faced a proper test this season.

Oh, apart from - of course - their comprehensive 1-0 win where they played us off the pitch.

Now then, which of our players will they buy this summer and when is Pochettino going to Barcelona?

Fuck, I really hope they finish 6th. Most arrogant, entitled, smug pricks in the league.

Tbf that's no different to here. Look in the premier league thread in general chat. When Arsenal, Chavs, City etc win it's always a capitulation by their opponents.
