Regarding the Chelsea fan comments @dontcallme
No, the penalty, although given, shouldn't have been. Son slid in awkwardly, and it was dreadful decision making, but it was really slow, Moses could easily have avoided it all together. He didn't just exaggerate the contact, or even initiate it. He clearly dives. My initial reaction was that it was a pen, and even when seen form some angles I was unsure. But after viewing all camera angles the BBC produced it was conclusively a dive. Supporting your club doesn't mean that after the event you have to deny the blatant. He blatantly dived to win a pen. If Toby had been sent off for that challenge it would have been a travesty, he never made any heavy contact, there were no studs showing, it wasn't two feet off the ground, there was no attempt to injury an opponent - it was just a clumsy challenge that he realised was clumsy challenge. Why should that be a red? The 'Alli stamp' was clearly an accident - he didn't break his stride, he was running away from Side Show, and the way Side Show's leg buckled unnaturally altered the direction it moved - if that hadn't happened Dele's foot wouldn't have come down on it. We got away with one with Hugo, fair enough - weight that against everything the Chavs got away with, including getting a penalty when in fact it should have been a free-kick the other way and a yellow card to Moses for simulation. As others have said above, Alonso should have had a red and several yellows in the first half alone, and should have gone. Kante and Side Show should also both have had several yellows long before they eventually got one. So, form all that Spurs would have been on 10 players and not awarded a penalty against them, and Chavs should have been down to eight (at minimum) and a goal less. Their point is?

Regarding the Liverpool comments @Col_M
Remarkably even handedness from RAWK, there - and somewhat unexpected. It never ceases to amaze me that so many clubs love to gloat at us (well, I could think of reasons, but not in this post). We were always part of the Big Five, and comparable on trophies with United and the Goons until Mr Scholar kyboshed us. And our rise has come through patience, investment in youth and investment in infrastructure. Why do our aspirations and improvement under these terms bother them so much? Couldn't help laughing in the pre-match section of this thread when someone posted Chav comments. One of said something about want to ahmmer us because of everything our horrible club stood for and I though, yeah, this (above) as opposed to being a stinky (literally) two-bob corrugated shack dwelling nothing of a Nazi club, gifted money stolen form the Russian people after the end of the Soviet Union by a shyster, who has bought success (substantial success for their first time ever). And they haven't even accumulated this modern success with good football and good grace - but rather by cheating, diving, shenanigans and constant unpunished fouling, celebrated by overly gobby fans who think that wumming and classless goading are the same as joyful euphoria. Hate the Goons for who they are, hate the Chavs for what they are - a cancer on football (and society).

@riggi No, I never left a game early in the seventies/eighties - but in those days you could also skip turnstiles, sneak over walls, etc. And other types of unsavory anti-socialism went on, too - getting away from grounds was less of a priority than hanging around and waiting to see if things kicked off.

Just out of interest, and bearing in mind I might have missed something and am happy for you to straighten me out on it, how do you know he is not from England and not a regular attender at either OT or any other football ground?

I said it before the game that I was mostly concerned about being mugged off by the officiating and so it came to pass.

Chelsea gave away a lot of dirty fouls with no bookings. Batshuayi stood in front of the ball several times when we were about to take the free kicks as well only to be booked after the 6th or 7th time.

To be honest, I would have booted the ball straight at his face and then laughed when he got booked for standing too close

I don't care we one 4-2 I've got ptsd from Christian Eriksen, been involved in every goal scored for Tottenham against us, baller

— Sonny (@SonnyCFC) April 23, 2017
Eriksen has been involved in all of Spurs' five goals vs CFC this season. One goal, four assists.

— bamidele isaac (@xtrimlysoccer) April 22, 2017
I will say this that Eriksen assist to Dele Alli was sublime. World class ball

— Bryon (@BryonCFC) April 22, 2017
Forget Alli and Kane though. Eriksen should have made POTY shortlist.

— Eugene Awori (@eujahCFC) April 22, 2017
Kudos to Tottenham and especially Eriksen, Alli and Kane. Despite all the rivalry with us you have a damn fine team #CFC #THFC #CHETOT

Is there a Liverpool fans TV?

Oh man just imagine if there was, the laughs, the jokes,

Ask and ye shall receive.

There is a 'FanTV' account for basically all the PL teams. Many that we would be concerned with are involved with the "Ball Street" youtube group. It's a good watch albeit a little Northern-focused but that is because the guy from RedmenTV handles a lot of it. And as we know everything orbits around Liverpool. Additionally there was "The Football Republic" group last year which also included the "Spurred On" account for us. From what I gather TFR was externally funded and that has dried up so most of their PL fanTV account have also gone barren.

So from watching that, Liverpool just need to do 1 2's and they will be fine, and I'm still unsure after watching it if that is a bloke or a girl.

I did that to someone at five a side last night, but for face read b*llocks. He still didn't get booked. Didn't take too kindly to my laughing either.

I was on the receiving end of this at 5-a-side last night. Tore my Achilles and couldn't move, so this guy on the other team punted the ball straight at my schnoz and then proceeded to laugh in my face.

A lot of the shed end being gracious:

I will take the result but I am coming out thinking in 3 games against spurs this season, although we have won twice, we have looked the inferior side on all three occasions.

I was also having a discussion with some friends earlier. TBH, the Spurs team are the only one in the prem where you would say they are complete. They don't have a weakness and you can argue that they have the best player in the league for every position they have. Lloris arguably is best keeper in league. IMO, Walker and Rose are the best RB and LB in league. Alderwerield is the best CB in league arguably, Dembele and Wanyama are arguable the best CM and DM in league. (Dembele is so underrated, he is brilliant). Wanyama is arguably the best DM in league. Alli and even Eriksen are arguably the best AM in the league and Kane for me is best striker in league. What lets them down is that the quality of depth. They need better depth but if they keep the core of that team together they are on the way to building something special. Have to admit that even as a Chelsea fan and they need to get that mental edge to perform on the biggest of stages (Always the bridesmaid, never the bride

Its not just about possession. We had more possession v Man United last week but still deserved to lose. Its about intensity, desire and philosophy. Yes they didnt create much, but nor did we. And there was only one team looking like scoring in that second half. The pressed us better and passed better. We scored from a corner and a wonder goal. Briliant for us. But dont let that cover up the general pattern of the game.

Just see things without the bias

If we lost 4-2 playing like Spurs everyone would be moaning about how undeserved it was and how lucky the other team were.

Its not just about dominating possesion. We didnt just decide to sit back and concede possesion like is being said. We tried to press, and tried to play. But couldnt. We didnt play a Counter attacking game. We were just outbattled for the majority of the game. I am calling it as I see it. Happy with the result, hoping with a summer spree next year is different. But please dont tell me Spurs deserved to lose that game in 90 mins.
