Really?

A phrase that has been popularised by fucking Liverpool.

Cringe-worthy to read it on here, especially regarding an upcoming match which is most likely going to be a non event featuring our reserves.
We clearly have a different sense of humour...

I don't like the 442, but I'm intrigued by Lennon at RB...

Put it this way, we are at home against a lower league team and should be on the front foot and smashing the living shit out of them. Ceballos and Eriksen will drift inside, and the fullbacks acting as wingers, Lennon stationed there may even solve the perpetual problem of width on the right hand side. Two targets up front suits our strikers and gives us more chance in front of goal.

If I see Naughton or Dier at right back or something like 4-2-3-1 with Lennon-Townsend-Paulinho behind a lone striker I am going to be extremely disappointed to be honest. These are the games we should be seeing what works and what doesn't, rather than serving up more of the same selection wise.

I see they've a resident Spurs fan on there. I never understand those guys. We have a Liverpool one on here iirc. Weird.

especially on a Brighton board. I could sort of understand popping on to a rival board to give your opinion pre/post match but why Brighton..? On the off chance that we get drawn against them in the Cup..? Odd.

We all know it won't be an easy game. Every year there is a reminder of this and you really don't have to look further than Shrewsbury last night to know how difficult these games can be.

It would be better for everyone if people can refrain from going in to the match thinking we will coast it, winning 8-0 and brushing them aside...

Fair point, at home though I would fully expect us to be on the front foot and dominate the ball for a large majority of the game.

Were you in East Upper Sunday mate? It was shocking. I'm not a ST holder so buy where i can when i can go, not going there again i can tell ya!
I was. Have always sat up there for the view and the shelf side chants, it's been a great place to sit in the past. Been sitting more towards the half way line this season and I've found myself surrounded my miserable old sods who do absolutely nothing other than sit with their arms folded, tutting at everything.

There was some poisonous git behind me on Sunday who, when Adebayor pulled up when he was on the ball, went "shame he didn't fall on his neck."

And I may have mentioned this in the Forest match thread, but the bloke next to me actually went "tch" when Kane scored.

Seriously, what the fuck is that about?

Why on earth would we play Lennon at right-back?? He is ill-equipped to play there. Surely it would be better to play one of the younger players where it might benefit us longer term. Lennon is not a solution at right-back either in short or long term, completely crazy IMHO!

Think Kane will start in the number ten position.

Think it will be:

Vorm

Dier
Fazio
Vertonghen
Davies

Stambouli
Dembele

Townsend
Kane
Eriksen

Soldado

Lamela started Thursday and Sunday so I don't think he will start tonight. Same might apply to Vertoghen as well although I don't think Poch will risk starting Vlad given our recent results,
