Going to this one. We'll probably lose but hey ho, there's something I like about WHL despite it being a horrible place :)

Even if we do get through, we'll probably get Chelsea away in the next round so our bad luck can continue.

I think we will see a reaction tonight from who ever plays I predict a 4 1 scoreline, the one against because I never see us getting a clean sheet especially with our joke of a defence.

Difficult game to call this one as we have a stuttering form but so do Brighton I believe.

Looking forward to going and expect us to go through but maybe not completely convincingly. ET could be on the cards, if so the rush back to Waterloo will be fun.

Hoping that the team isnt a complete second string but a mixture so that we can see combinations and stop having a premier league XI and cup XI. Vorm to start?

Is this on the actual telly tonight? Or will it be a "collection-of-still-images-from-the-ground-that-when-someone-uploads-them-very-quickly-one-after-the-other-you-get-a-sense-of-what's-going-on" Jobby? The second option I guess...? Regardless,

I'm interested to watch the performance this evening.
Will be interesting to see who starts.
I don't think we can afford to out a second string team tonight really.

If we lose, confidence will then be shot to shit, it'll be another cup competition exit, and it could get a bit embarrassing/suicidal.

Then we'll lose to Villa and people will be calling for Poch's swede, then it'll just be a shitty fan spraying oodles of shit everywhere. :( shit.

I would go with as many first teamers as possible, they need a confidence boost and we will still have 3 days to recover.

Lloris

Naughton Fazio Verts Davies

Stambouli Mason

Lamela Eriksen Kane

Soldado
Rest Rose due to his good form, rest Kaboul 'cos still think he's made of glass. Drop Adebayor and Chadli. I liked Kane and Soldado's link up and think that works well. Let Mason carry on his adjusting into the first team and give Benji a go in the partnership of the CM 2.

Is Clattentwat still the ref today? Just read that the FA has suspended him for violating protocol and leaving quickly alone from the palace/west brom match in order to catch a concert of some artist that teenage girls are obsessed with

Would like to see something like this:

Vorm

Naughton Fazio Vlad Davies

Stambouli Dembele

Ceballos Lamela Townsend

Soldado

I also wouldn't mind seeing Kane instead of Lamela as maybe Erik needs a rest. I also don't know if Naughton will be fit enough to start. Apart from that i think its important to rest as many people as realistically possible before Villa on Sunday. A lot of the team looked quite exhausted during much of the second half against Newcastle. Vlad is a risk i know but i think he deserves one last shot and he should be able to handle Brighton. I would really like to see Ceballos given a start most of all though, he looked very good in preseason and i think he has outgrown the U21's, if he is going to have a future with us now is the time to find out. Im sure this wont be the line up however as i'm sure one of our captains, be that Lloris, Ade or Kaboul, will start.

It'll be the usual cup team.

Hope there's less miserable old gits in east upper than the last few cup games.
