This is like a soap opera I hope and prey we have excepted this is a non starter and moved on to the point where we can at least find someone that is a dam sight better than llorente or nkouda before the window shuts.

In reality I know we ain’t getting anyone but it’s sibday night and we have been knocked out of 2 cup competitions in 72 hours ?.

And the worst thing is with another month without Kane alli and probably a fucked son the champions league and top 4 finish could soon be a distant memory ?

Thanks, Herc.

Can’t help but feel deflated. We can’t sign players to improve us because we lack the funds. I’m guessing we can’t spend big until we sell and that probably won’t happen until the summer
they could be sold anytime.

i'd rather spend all our budget on one good player than get 4 or 5 fillers. That's what's got us into this mess to begin with.

Better spending all the budget if it'll improve us rather than do nothing and have the whole season derailed by injuries. It's beyond frustrating, especially when our depth outside of the core eleven is nowhere near the required standard to challenge.
Exactly. We are desperate for a top CM and basically a backup to Son. Why not spend most of it on the CM then forwards wise we could take a punt on a young player from the lower leagues. Almost anyone would be an improvement on Llorente and GKN. “We don’t want to blow the budget on one player” is another excuse along with squad places, “no players that would improve us”, “played by agents” and fax machines. ITK has said the budget is around £100m, surely that’s enough to get two good players in never mind one, especially when there’s deadwood to get rid of.

Im not sure how Timo is too expensive for us considering we keep hearing we have 100mill+ to spend. We dont want to spend 70% of our budget on one player but in reality we are not spending any of our budget on anyone! So that excuse is out of the window.

I'm guessing Levy thinks he can get him cheaper in the summer but bigger clubs will come and get him and we will hear that we tried.

Thanks for trying but how about Levy/Poch/the club start delivering. Either operate as a Top 4 club or give up pretending to be one. Im sick of this crap now.
Thing is with Timo, RB really, really don’t want to loose him and even if they have too, selling him now could be disastrous for their CL hopes. I wouldn’t be surprised if the mark up for this window was beyond reasonable. It would be like us selling Eriksen now. Could you imagine how much we would ask for to let him go now. Now I’m not saying they are valued the same but more the general mark up for selling me of your most important players in the Jan window when your trying to stay in the top four.

If anyone wants to moan that we haven't signed someone or whinge that the club is this, Levy is that, I seriously suggest you do it in one of the players threads because we've had that all in here multiple times. It adds nothing and its repetitive now.

Getting desperate now. Our Daniel is DESPERATE to get rid of the players we know about, to free up space. And there is money btw. Anyway, enough has been said on that already. Sad thing is everyone is wanting loans of those players, with no obligation to buy. I am hearing he will swallow a bitter pill and allow, if the interested parties firm up, and cover the wages.

Championship we know about. All up in the air though. We are desperate to freshen things up with a couple. Knowing us, and recent attempts, let’s see. One ambitious (very) initial loan, with options in our favour, from La Liga, is just that at present.

It’s been desperate for about 10 years under ENIC when it comes to transfers. Let’s hope they pull something out of the bag, just hope the likes of Janssen etc will not stop things happening.

Was going to book next Thursday off from work, but after Ghost's ITK, I think I won't bother.

I think Hercules is referring to Isco and he’s probably the only type of player we don’t need right now.

Pathetic. I've been a BSoDL the whole time, but there's no chance we get isco on loan, and even less chance that signing a Championship player helps us have any chance of winning the only competition we're left in, the champions League.

Time for real investment was the summer, I'd say we've well and truly screwed our chances now.

Assuming Herc's La Liga comment is in regards to Isco (he's mentioned him previously), why exactly would Madrid loan him out? Is he not playing?
