Just figured it out. It’s the long play from Levy and Poch. Make everyone think that NOT signing players is actually the new way to win. Everyone else follows the fad, prices crash and BOOM DL and Poch pounce!

It would be interesting to hear where the differences lie between Poch and Levy lie on terms of targets.

Has Poch just decided he wants certain players and that is that or has he been told by the players camps that they are attainable?

And whether you like Levy or not, he works in the best interests of the club. So has he been rebuffed in approaches for the players Poch wants or are their wage demands beyond a point that we can realistically accommodate (doesn’t necessarily mean monetarily)?

Edit: It pains me that I have to say this but to be clear, I am thinking aloud and not questioning the ITK

my take on it from articles read, for us to buy a senior quality player at the moment, we would either need to sell another senior or either the new player won't be able to play in the CL or one of the other senior players in it at present would have to drop out because Poch has handed Foyth his spot. at the moment the 1 free place in our squad, the club are concentrating hard on a HG.

was nice knowing you all, but it's getting tiring reading why we won't do this or won't do that and the reasons why. I wished an ITK could back me on this post to save me the ban stick

It's just one excuse after another.

Pro Levy view: He's offering Poch all these decent players, who could very well became great, but Poch keeps turning them down.

Pro Poch view: He wants us to sign the very best players, who will slot straight in and improve us, but Levy won't pay out for them.

Oh god yeah. Excuses are definitely been given at every turn and if you'd read some of my previous posts you'd see that is what I've said. Im not happy with our recruitment at all.

I was just stating, what seems to be true, that Poch doesn't want any player other than primary targets. The club have got 7 absolute pivotal months now. No more excuses will be tolerated.
