Nice one Levy
Nice one son
Nice one Levy
We're gonna sign no-one

I saw Daniel Levy on my way home today
"Jump in" I shouted "I'll give you a lift home"
"Fuck off" he shouted back.
How ungrateful I thought as I zipped up my backpack and carried on walking.

At breakfast Mrs A&C said to me "I'm sick to death of you, everything I say goes in one ear and straight out the other". I said "I'll have two boiled eggs please"

Then last night I woke up to find both Mrs A&C and I had been abducted by aliens.

A tall alien in a mask leaned over me and said "we are just going to perform an anal probe on yourself and your wife and then we will send you home unharmed".

I rolled over, parted my arse cheeks and said "ok mate but good luck with the wife I've been trying for twenty years".

The giving Levy a lift gag is golden A&C, take a bow

Rabiot clearly talented but hard to sign foreign players without selling, may well be a bit of activity next week (in both directions).

Rabiot makes a lot of sense. Long term target, low price, available now (out of favour due to contract issues). Big concern being the attitude.

Not really sure I follow on the foreign numbers that much. Surely if there is a player that can truly improve us we need to get it done, and if a hard decision has to be made so be it. Otherwise that's putting the short term ahead of the long term, surely.

It's taken a couple of posts to go from the ITK at hand to our CL squad.

Take it to the Rabiot thread because for sure, it isn't meant for in this one.

*Up here for thinking, down there for dancing.

Don't post silly, post savvy.

boomboomboom let me hear you say day-oh

Thanks.

Why’s it hard to sign a foreign player without selling? Poch said we’ve sold Dembele and now have a squad place. Without jumping the gun it may imply we’ve already lined up another foreign player hence the need to ship another out before we can bring in say Rabiot as well.

Sorry A&C for previous post being slightly off track.

I'm glad that Trix is optimistic so hopefully there is some ins. With Dembele being sold, that creates at least one opening and hopefully there'll be more.

so either poch has done a 180 in regards to his choices, or we suddenly think his are gettable? hopefully we can get a couple in, and a couple out.

I guess Rabiot has had all window to try and secure a pre contract agreement. Maybe the offers aren't quite as good as he expected?

I’d say Vorm , Janssen and N’koudou are outs, but that only frees up 1 non-homegrown place?

Rabiot sounds like he has an attitude, which flies against Poch’s squad harmony mantra, but maybe attitude is what we lack at the moment.

I’d have no idea on which British player(s) we could sign, they nearly always come at a premium - hoping for a Alli-style rabbit out the hat?

Didn't we have ITK from JJ saying we'd agreed to match any bid for De Jong? Now he's moved I guess that frees up that money and Poch moves on to his plan B which would tie in with the sudden possibility of us signing someone.

Agreeing to match a bid and actually matching it are 2 very different things. I must admit i didn't really understand that anyway. If a lower team bids you agree to match the bid knowing you are the preferred location. Matching Barca is like pissing in the wind.

I started explaining then realised that I was talking CL squad and I don’t want to lose my access as we enter the Crescendo of the transfer window.
