I think we need to stick with Lloris. With have bought a world class goalkeeper and should be playing him.

In my opinion Cudicini is a good backup but getting old, Freidel has done well so far but we hasnt kept a clean sheet in the prem and let in 4 late goals against Newcastle, West Brom, Norwich and Reading.
you do know that friedel isnt the only line of defence, he needs defenders doing a good job as well.

Ok... deep breath...

I claim that even before The Apprentice stated we were interested, that I had already stated that Lloris would be a great signing for us. After the ITK I claimed it could be at least as important to us as signing a striker, that a keeper of this quality needs to be snapped up if he was available.

Right, good, thanks... the fact that I like and wanted Lloris should be understood.

But ask yourselves if Lloris was already playing (because he had been with us for pre.season etc...), would you play Brad?
I would play Cuducini, because your squad needs matches. In that vain I claim IF Cuducini starts it makes sense.

Lloris is going to be phased into the number 1 shirt, I am not sure Carlisle away is the best match for it and it certainly is not a crucial one.

Anyone else remember when we had Kasey Keller as number 1 with Lars Hirschfeld on the bench?

Barca, possibly the best team in that age catagory.

I would have even the Barca school of excellence under 11s to beat carlisle.

I didn't see the game, I just seem to remember a few comments suggesting he wasn't having a great game and that he's got a long way to go before he'll be threatening the first team squad.

What people are missing with the goalkeeper situation is this. AVB knows Lloris will be number one, but who will his back be? As Brad won't be around next year to play second fiddle, he will leave to play first team football for another club or retire. AVB needs to luck at Cudicini and Gomes to decide if they are adequate back ups that will push Lloris in the future.

Surely Cudicini must be out of the equation too, since he's 40 next year?
