Is this normal?!? I literally can not remember an international break without an injury to one of our squad! Why does this always happen to us?!? I mean I get it: players get injured in matches occasionally, but how is it that with Tottenham guys it’s literally a nailed-on certainty?!?

Because almost every other top clubs player mysteriously ends up pulling out with a life threatening injury, only to miraculously recover for their next club game a few days later.

I think we are doing something wrong re fitness. Chelsea simply never get any injuries. Just can’t remember a time when they’ve had 4/5 out at same time. Fail to believe it’s just coincidence.

Perhaps not playing in the Champions League / not being in the title race has made it easier for them to rotate players when they aren't 100%, in recent seasons (it's 3 years since they were fighting on both fronts).

He came off in the second half didn’t he. It’s madness he’s involved at all after his hamstring injury. First of all he played 90 minutes in his first game back and then gets selected for England. Crazy.

Yes he needs minutes to build match fitness but needs to be carefully managed.
