Vicario
Royal - Romero - Sanchez - Udogie
Bissouma
Sarr - Maddison
Deki - Kane - Son

It might be too early to start VDV. Plus, Sanchez did really well for the majority vs Barca and could earn a start.

Subs: Solomon, Perisic, VDV, Richy, GLC, Skipp, Porro, Forster, Davies

Can't start VDV yet. Dav did more than enough tonight.

Vicario; Emerson, Sanchez, Romero, Udogie; Bissouma, Lo Celso, Maddison; Deki, Kane, Perisic/Son.

Gonna need to be willing to run for 90+ minutes. With our high line, pressing intensity, Brentford are going to be playing long ball, down the wings, getting the likes of Mbeumo in on the last defender’s shoulder.

That LCB position is a real quandary.

I'd start VDV straight away if he's match fit/got his work permit sorted.

Sanchez had a solid game tonight but he's had 4 years of not being good enough.

VDV and Romero need to play together in order to build up a good partnership.

VDV has to start for me, if not this week he’s thrown in against United, he’s got to start at some point so get him in at the earliest point.

Real nice options for all front 6 positions.
Hope for Bissouma - Sarr - Maddison to start, but Hojbjerg - Skipp - Lo Celso as an alternative is not too shabby.

Just LCB is an unproven worry.

Unless we are bringing in another LCB...

(But I agree, I would probably opt for VdV this week also. Maybe Davies over Sanchez - but neither ideal).

Vicario
Royal Romero Sanchez Udogie
Sarr Bissouma Maddison
Kulusevski Kane Son

I'd have Skipp, Lo Celso, Solomon and Perisic all to come on at some point

The players that didn’t play will definitely start Sunday .

Emerson
Undogie
Romero
Hojberg
Maddison
Kulu
Son
Kane

So with the keeper that leaves 2 places . LCB and the Number 8 role .

VDV, Davies or Sanchez for LCB
Sarr Bissoma or Skipp for the midfield spot .

for me Sanchez has done enough to deserve a last shot in a spurs shirt .

the other position should go to Bissouma was brilliant for a hour tonight. Bearing in mind he didn’t play Sunday and wasn’t up to full speed . Still looks a class act and should definitely start in a tough away game Sunday
