Lloris
KWP Toby Sanchez Davies
Dier Sissoko Skipp
Son Janssen Moura

Dele and Eriksen are offering nothing right now. Bench time could be a good wake up call ahead of the CL second leg. Skipp has a good pass in him, Dier can then do what he used to do and drop into a back 3 with Toby and Sanchez when the full backs push on. VJ can hold up the ball and lay it off to Lucas and Son.

We can't be resting anyone right now, let alone Dele & Eriksen. I'm sure Poch would love to swap them for a Zaha & Grealish type fresh squad option for a game, but not happening. They are big players for us. They are one of our few sources of goals. This is a massive game for us. We don't want it going down to the last day. They have to play sadly.

Only players that should be rested are Verts and maybe Sissoko (not even sure on Sissoko tbh as we have nobody breaking the lines without his runs).

This is an encouraging quote from Eddie Howe... basically the message is, give them all a rest and think about next season (y)

“We are going to have to try to nurse the boys back and we are obviously very keen for the season to end to get some of our quality players back.
“We are just aware that we don’t want to go into pre-season next year with a weakened squad. It’s a hard enough league as it is.”

Depends who's fit. It's going to be a difficult game, so the strongest available.

Can't really worry about Weds, need to get into top 4 because final looks a long stretch from here.

Yep. KWP has been MOTM in most of the few PL games he's started. Tripps is out of juice. Skipp at least will do something positive and isn't knackered like Christian and Dele. And Vincent is a good deal more mobile than Fernando. Can't play CL, so give him a go.

May as well just give them the 3 points with that team.

Suddenly feeling a lot more confident after reading about Bournemouth’s injury problems. It sounds like Howe and given their recent form the Bournemouth players are also of the opinion that they want the season to end as soon as possible. I’m sure I read previously that Howe has promised a lot of his fringe / youth players a certain amount of game time, hence his selections in the cups this year. Here’s hoping he starts them all this weekend. If ever we needed a gimme to stop the rot and give us a shot of confidence it’s now.

Feel free to forfeit the game Eddie

KWP Sanchez Foyth Davies

Juggling. Llorente Dele Rose Trippier all looked knackered at the end the other night. Having to 'rest' some. Many of line up will get on at some stage in the match so lets trust them with a start

Lloris
Foyth - Sanchez - Toby - Davies
Dier- Skipp
Moura - Eriksen - Alli
Son

Subs: Sissoko, Llorente, Wanyama, KWP, Jansen, Rose, Gazzaniga

I’m tempted to play Jansen in for Eriksen, but maybe just sub for the last 30.
