Think it’ll be Davies at CB and Sess at LB, and not sure about John vs. White in mid.

My guess would be:

Gollini
Doherty Romero Davies Sessegnon
Winks Sissoko
John Lo Celso Gil
Scarlett

Christ that’s a pretty poor squad..

Best XI imo (keeping the 4-3-3 system used vs City):

Gil Scarlett Clarke
John Winks Lo Celso
Sessegnon Davies Romero Doherty
Gollini
Tottenham should still win and they have the second leg. It’s not a bad play.

Yeh agreed. Based on the players in the list that’s pretty much what I’d expect. Looks like a fun lineup to be honest. I’m excited to see sess as an attacking left back. Can’t wait to see Romero and Gil inaction. Scarlett starting is really fun too, we love one of our own, right?! I think it’ll be a vibrant and bold team rather than an inexperienced and naive team.

Wel if you say so it must be

You are not alone in not being that bothered about this result in fact I was quite happy to lose at Leicester and let The Woolwich be in this competition.
I fully expect to go through though this Pacos side might be 1st Div in Portugal but they are made up almost entirely of free transfers, keep it tight 1st leg then win the 2nd leg at home.

Guess we have to go with what we’ve taken, but we do seem a very small team which makes us susceptible to lesser (but bigger) teams at set pieces. Does seem strange Rodon wasn’t selected.

Rodon has a slight injury otherwise he would have played.

This is a pretty big call to make resting so many key players. Gives a real chance to some of the kids to stake a claim though.

Loads of fans wanted Scarlett in the PL side which he is not ready for , this game is ideal it will be part of his apprenticeship .

I woudl be surprised if Nuno deviates form the 4-3-3 they have obviously worked really hard on in training. As such I can see this team:

Gollini
Doherty Romero CCV Davies(c)
John Winks Lo Celso
Gil Scarlett Sessegnon
I am particularly interested in three things:

1. Watching Romero make his full debut for us - big hopes for this lad.
2. Whether Nuno uses Sessegnon a LB or a WF. He was reportedly interested in signing him for Wolves when he was very much a WF. It was Jose who suggested his future was at LB.
3. Really want to see more of Scarlett - is he our next big thing?

I second this as the most likely eleven. Unless we change the system (which I would be surprised if we did) and go 3-4-3 with

Gollini
CCV Romero Davies
Doherty Winks Lo Celso Sessegnon
Clarke Scarlett Gil

I think we will play 433:

Gollini

Doherty
Romero
Davies
Sessegnon

John
Winks
Lo Celso

Gil
Scarlett
Clarke

It's a very brave (and risky) move from Nuno but I love the fact he seems willing to give our youth a chance!

Very excited to see how Gil, Romero, John, Lo Celso, Sessegnon and Scarlett look.

It's far from a 'big' game, but there is actually something riding on this so will be interesting to see how the youngsters and the new signings approach it. Hopefully we see the same commitment we saw from the first 11 against City on the weekend.

Always get a bit suspicious at this time of the transfer window when players get slight injuries.
Wouldn’t be shocked if Rodon was sold or loan in the next few weeks

Where is Sissoko?
Did he not travel?
Is he injured or being shut out?
He could be useful with such an inexperienced squad
Also no mention of Aurier

Aurier like N'dombele was not named in the squad that has been registered with UEFA for the qualifying round , the squad can be changed for the group stages.
Sissoko , no idea.
