Think it’ll be Davies at CB and Sess at LB, and not sure about John vs. White in mid.
Didn’t White play the full 90 for the U23s? John didn’t feature so I think that confirms he starts.
Sess played 45, obviously building match fitness after injury. Maybe saving him for tonight, or perhaps not ready to start for the first team yet.
If he does start it might be in attack. I know it’s not where the club sees his future, but a back four of Doherty CCV Romero Davies looks pretty solid and experienced, whereas Sess, young as he is, is a veteran compared to Clarke Scarlett Gil.

Could be six full competitive debuts in this game: Gollini, Romero, John, Scarlett, Bryan, Clarke.

Quite brave by Nuno, but I suppose they’re all new players to him.

Is Sess fully fit? Didn't he have a hamstring injury or something recently?

Romero and Scarlett have had their Spurs debuts. This would be their first starts for Tottenham though.

Based on that:

Gollini
CCV Romero Davies
Doherty Winks John Sessegnon
Lo Celso Gil
Scarlett

Lloris Dier Tanganga Reguilón Skipp Dele Lucas Bergwijn Son
Not sure it’s the right thing to do, I’d rather be in the competition than not, but equally the only prize for this is a place in Europa anyway which we should be able to do domestically at a minimum so I get it.
I’m a fucking genius.
