The Shaw situation intrigues me.
His stock has clearly fallen, and we know historically Jose/Utd don't wait around for recovery, he/they will just buy the next shiny toy instead.
Now, from Shaw's perspective, his next move is crucial. He either takes an easy move, a club that will just throw cash at him to secure a 'name' for the fans, West Ham or such like, and just rakes in the cash without ever realising his potential. Or, he takes the hard road, joins a club like Spurs, where he knows he will have to fight his way back up, starting behind the current England LB, but with a manager he knows gets the best out of him, and in a system that will suit him.
Interesting time ahead. In truth, if the fee and wages are reasonable, then given last seasons rotation of the fullbacks, having two LB of that standard, he'll still be getting enough game time.

Wherever he goes he needs to be a guaranteed starter to get his career back on track and that's obviously not here. Everton would be about the right place for him.

Was just thinking I can see him at Everton. Seems to be a fair bit of business between those two as well. I wouldn't be upset with him but would doubt united would sell to us

I know Poch loves him, but he always a little out of shape and pudgy to me. And does he still have the same acceleration that made him effective at Southampton after that horror leg break?

Given we are building a 61,000 seater stadium to afford higher quality expensive players in a big way, if we are playing in Wembley next season with 90,000 capacity do you guys think we will start buying good quality players who will of course we expensive a year earlier?

No. We will need to pay for the shiny new stadium before we can afford to start spunking money left right and centre.

Bernado Silva from Monaco. Too much money I guess, but he's exactly what need. New David Silva, basically.
He would be absolutely transformative but alas, unattainable for us at this point in time. In a few years we may be able to discuss players of his ilk with a more realistic outlook.

I'd expect City to sell Augero and buy Mbappe in summer. Front three of him, Jesus and Sterling would be greased lightning.
