Claiming Son targeted Holding to get him sent of as opposed to the other way round saying son stayed on Holding’s side of the pitch to try and win fouls! One of my favourite things to do after a win is come into Spurs Chat - *shudders* - and look back at the Match Thread to find the posts immediately before any goals are scored/big incidents in favour of Spurs happen and then lap up all the joy.

I really recommend it from a mental health point of view - it makes you buzz all over again. Definitely not here for the minute-by-minute drama, but thanks to those that produce it so I can extract just your highs. Like a high-sucking monster.

I think that was the game plan - not to get sent off obviously, but to hit Sonny as hard as he can at every opportunity, a bit like the Gerrard plan at Villa was to hit our players hard with vicious tackles

We've employed some disgusting tactics in the last 2 games. I'm not proud of us in the slightest for A) Playing our own game against Liverpool to ensure we didn't get battered and ending up taking a point, and B) playing Son in his natural position where he's played his whole fucking career in a clear attempt to get Holding sent off.

It's horrendous behaviour and we should be sanctioned.

The last two seasons have been pretty rough which hasn't helped matters but that felt like a milestone moment for the new stadium tonight. It's the same hallowed ground, just with a lot more luxury and a lot more fans in there to make a difference.

Time to make it our fortress now.
