Welcome to the Spurs Vs Arsenal Match Thread! COYS!

We want to bring the joy back into match days as these threads have just become full of over the top from at least a handful of posters. While we understand and have the same frustrations on the team and the performances the constant beating on the same players for just being picked is tiresome the same with going over how we didn't get more players in during the transfer window. We would rather not limit peoples access to this thread, so please before you hit post just read your post back...

STREAMING SITES

We cannot allow the posting of links to Streaming sites/apps and as a result of that do not allow posts asking for them as they invariably result in someone posting a link. Please do NOT hint at having, post or ask for links to streaming sites. The latest 'clever' way around this is to drop hints. That'll have to stop too I'm afraid as again, it results in people posting links.

The only thing I am hoping, is for Kane to save his best game since the Villa one for this. His form is sadly slipping since then..

Need to take away their momentum - if they lose this I don't fancy their chances of picking themselves up for the final two games.

He needs to summon up his face mask, grab the game by the balls era and really stick it to them. All the pressure is on us, it will be valuable information for Conte looking forward to next season to see who he can really rely on.
Is Reggie gonna be fit? If Reggie and Sess are both fit, I do wonder if he might be tempted to stick Sess on the right.

No Reggie is probably out for the rest of our games and Emerson just had his best game for Spurs and may be getting some form just in time. The pressure is on arsenal - they can take fourth spot by beating us and as we know they are major bottle jobs. And we are the Mighty Tottenham Hotspur playing at the famous White Hart Lane with 56000 of the best and loudest fans in the world. COYS!!!

Why take Emerson out after his best game? That would destroy his confidence if you drop him now.

I was quite relaxed before the Liverpool game on Saturday. This is going to be the absolute opposite.

From them getting the fixture postponed in Jan to them clinching Champions League if they win on Thursday, everything that has built up to this game means its our most important league game in years.

Just fucking win. Please.

Well on paper we have...

-A better manager
-A better first XI
-Home advantage
-Better goalscorers
-More experienced players
-Higher confidence levels, having just got a good result against one of the best teams on the planet

We really should be winning this one!

I'd love us to absolutely muller them into oblivion oblivion shatter their confidence. A 4 goals or more victory.

I think we need to score in the first 20mins if we are to have any chance of success.

Why the first 20 minutes?

What was the score after 20 minutes at the weekend?

What was the score after 20 minutes of each game against City?

I only mention those games because good old SC gave us no chance in hell of getting anything from them, other than an absolute annihilation.

Yep. Love these absolute statements. What about if we scored in the 21st minute? Would that still work? Tempted to post the 6 min abs scene from TSAM but cba.

Time to stand up and be counted massive week coming up where if we play to anything near our potential we could be sitting in 3 rd come Saturday afternoon.
I fancy Leeds to beat Chelsea weds and Arsenal have been incredibly fortunate with the timing of their recents fixtures and have had the rub of the green in all those matches, let’s smash them.COYS. Edit… playing Sunday not sat?

In addition, I’d rather sess at left back too. I think he’s a more rounded player than Reggie

Just to add on as well
Sessegnon hasn't been able to finish 90min recently has he?

Even if Reguilon was back, you would probably need to take both off at some point (if starting Sessegnon on the right)

If we can’t rouse ourselves for this one. A midweek game. Against the scum. Under the lights. With the stadium at full capacity. And a ridiculously good atmosphere. Then we may as well hang up our boots. I think we are going to absolutely slaughter them. COYS!

If we win this game and Arsenal still win their remaining two, then they probably deserve top 4.

Hopefully we smash them and dent their confidence going into Newcastle away.
