Even if we don’t get 4th this year, that performance shows we are quite considerably ahead of them in quality and attitude. Really good sign for next season, to add on to the Liverpool performance

We are a proper Conte team now

Got home 30 mins ago.

Bloody hell, I didn’t expect that. If we did win I thought it would be a tight 2-1 kind of game. Could and maybe should have been 6

The noise and atmosphere was just off the charts, in the stadium and in the bar in the south stand after the game.

I dont know how it came across on TV but I genuinely believe it had an impact on the goons. They are not used to playing in noise ( :) ) and it seemed to have got to them.

Awesome performance and seeing the salt from Arteta after the game just made the night even more joyous.

It was the booing of their every touch at the start. You could see immediately it was in their heads (even though they had a lot of ball at the start but that’s part of our plan).

It just looked like the weak minded shit they’ve dolled up year after year. I knew if we got the first goal and with the crowd behind the side we’d win. We just need to carry it into Sunday. Midday kick off will be hard to make it loud but we need to get behind the side as much as possible. I think they’ll need it.

Can’t believe I just watched a crucial NLD in the stadium where we:
  1. Were Ole’ing from the 50th minute
  2. Didn’t hear the away fans make a noise (we drowned them out, least I’ve heard from away fans all season)
  3. Took off some of our best players on 70 to rest them for Sunday

What a night!!

Only my 5th time at the new ground, but the first time it's really felt like home and a place to be feared for me. I was at the same time both fortunate and unfortunate to be in a box last night so whilst I wasn't right in the midst of that atmosphere it was more than a sight(and noise)to behold.

Without question for me the crowd get MOTM, I've never heard an atmosphere like it....EVER. The way that ground has been designed to amplify and reverberate the volume of the fans, is simply incredible.

I'm going to watch the game this morning before I comment on the players, but theres no doubt in my mind the Spurs faithful deserve all the praise in the world.

I agree and with a few additions we will be miles ahead

If Conte had started with us in July and we had had no European matches like Arsenal I think we would be comfortably sitting in 3rd and a good 10/15 pts ahead of Arse/Chelsea.
Future’s bright.

The two Man City games... the CL one early on, and the first game of the season, weren't far behind last night tbh. But naturally the NLD should be the most special.

The second half, after the third goal, was weird in the south stand. We didn’t really know what to do with ourselves at times. There wasn’t constant singing but there was this loud hum of a collection of voices. We hadn’t experienced that in one of these games. I think back to the 5 1 in the league cup semi final as anything close to as dominating but it wasn’t like last night.

It was just nice. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a huge group of Spurs fans just so content. I want that again.

I've just seen Burnley's potential injury list for Sunday. Mee, Tarkowski, Cork, Westwood, Vydra, Rodriguez.

I think Jackson has a press conference today which should confirm who is and isn't available, but if we aren't beating a relegation threatened team at home with their 2 best CB's and best midfielder missing then we don't deserve 4th.

Love reading Barney when we win...

This line is a beauty. Cracked me up: "Conte was up on his feet throughout, literally pointing to where he wants his players to pass the ball, shrieking at Ryan Sessegnon, arms quivering, eyes ablaze, seeing ghosts, wolves, fire in the tree line. Eventually he was booked for performing a kind of double-handed full-body decapitation mime in the referee’s direction, which is, on balance, probably not on".

We're still 5th, but for me last night showed that we are still, pound for pound, a far better team than them. We were dominant and controlled, but they just caved in. They couldn't handle the pressure. Which gives me confidence that they will crumble against a resurgent Newcastle, and an increasingly combative and desperate Everton.

The roar when the pen went in was incredible. From deathly silence to completely deafening, almost dropped my foie gras.

Gary Neville podcast is quite good this morning.

He does it from the gantry after every game, about 4-5 minutes into it you can hear our lot in the south stand concourse nevermind out in the actual stand, it's so loud  "Arsenal get battered"

My seat is in the North Stand and despite being near to the away fans I couldn't hear anything from them for the entire match. What I could see were rows of empty seats and lines of dejected Gooner fans making for the exits well before the final whistle.
