Really? they openly disrespected the minutes silence for Hillsborough a few years back, why do u think this would be any different?

Sounds fucking stupid (and is) but they have a rivalry with Liverpool and are known to bring up heysel a fair bit. I think this will be different...

I'll be absolutely stunned if they're even given an opportunity to ruin it...It'll be a minutes applause imo.
It's the sad reality.

I've always thought a minutes applause is better anyway. Especially at such a large venue.

Wow. Sad news. 44 ... same age as me. Bet he was a lot healthier and fitter than me too. Tragic news. Thoughts with his wife and children.

Didn't realize that the youngsters saw him as such a father figure. Sounds as if he was a great man.

That's what the club is all about, especially now. It's a massive company worth a metric ton of money, but at its core it's a family.

Rest In Peace, Ugo...

I just think that unless there is an obscure reason back in time where he caused them grief which I am sure there isnt then they will do the right thing. Maybe I am trying to think the best of them.

Either way it will be a sad day tomorrow and hopefully we do him proud as a club.

Yes, it was a screenshot from CM2 saying what a career he had. 23yrs old, 1 England cap.

Do they have a 10 yr old in charge of media publications?!

I still can't get my head around his death. Like many on here, i'm not far off his age and it really brings home how vulnerable we all really are. This sort of thing has a very effective way of making you focus on the important issues in life, because, you just never know.

Lost my cousin just before Christmas at the age of 43 to a heart attack.

Too many good young men leaving too early.

No not for me, its better than nothing but always feels a bit...

With a minutes silence you are on edge to listen out for some Muppet make noise. Well i do anyway. Maybe im alone on that.

Nope, you're not alone. With a silence you end up listening out for muppets as opposed to respecting the purpose.

I was at a Spam game and a ICF type dropped some moron for making noise during a minutes silence! Just punched him in the back of head, it was beautiful

It is becoming clear that Ugo will have an impact on our Club that goes way beyond his lifetime if the tributes left by his charges are anything to go by. All reflect these same sentiments about Ugo.

I'll never be able to thank you enough for all the time you invested in me to become a better footballer and man... Rest in peace Ugo Ehiogu
