What is this about?
How are they the only clubs affected?Rail strikes
I think it’s the unions on the networks who provide services between London and Brighton/Sussex. So Southeastern and Thameslink. How are they the only clubs affected?
and then next weekend for the funeral? So talk is all sport is likely to be cancelled over the weekend.
She was 96, what an absurd measure for someone that was going to die sooner or later. So talk is all sport is likely to be cancelled over the weekend.
An odd take - why bother when the country's monarch who is loved over the world dies...because she was old? God help any old people in your family ?She was 96, what an absurd measure for someone that was going to die sooner or later.
The Premier League is a global brand, and it’s fans & players outside of England who’s made the league what it is today, why should we outside UK care about the Queen? The fixture list is already crazy as it is, don’t make it even worse
Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t the rest of the country going back in for work?I am really saddened by how selfish some of you are being over the possibility of the games being called off. You may not care about our monarch dying because she wasn't your head of state, but Spurs are an English club, playing in an English league, with English officials and thousands of English staff who do care.
Shame on all of you that are complaining about the possibility of games being called off just because you don't care.
Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t the rest of the country going back in for work?
Apart from the very obvious sentimentality, there is also the actual practical reasons of police resources, barriers to be used etc of sporting events going ahead this weekend.
I was actually looking forward to the football, to see the respect paid to the Queen at each game, but I 100% understand the reasoning in postponing this weekend.
