What a redemption story, he went from being hardly able to control the ball and looking like a baby giraffe to powerfully and gracefully (at times) running at players and bossing midfields, he is literally everywhere the ball is in the game.

He's gone from being an Arsenal fan to a proper Yid, he has found his home and you can see he is going to be one of those forever Spurs fans after he leaves the game.

Good on the Big Moose.

I'd like to think so. But he was aware of the over the top shit/abuse he got from our own fans. We don't deserve him, but thank fuck we got him.

Just hope he recovers well and is 100% fit for the next few games. We need him badly. If we have to rely on Wanyama in CM I can't see us winning a single game again this season.

It was perhaps one of the loudest moments of the night when he was subbed on. The whole stadium was singing his song.

It must just give him such a confidence boost. Clearly he is a confidence player, and is full of it right now. Got to love him.

Been trying to think of the appropriate analogy for his performance last night and finally got the bit at the end of Jurassic Park when the velociraptors are closing in and out of nowhere the TRex appears and lays waste to them.

Try your bullshit triangles on me, you midgets. I will kick you into the middle of the second leg.

I voted for him as player of the season.
How have you done that? I haven't been sent a link to choose mine yet?

Edit: just see that I did infact get an email and I'm too late. :/ Moussa would have been my choice too

Never realised he was a Muslim. No idea how religious he is, but should we be worried that our star player will be going into our biggest game in decades without having eaten or drank anything all day?

Doubt it'll bother him. The guy's a machine.

Think there's some rule where you can postpone a days fasting as long as you make it up. Mo Salah did something like it last season before the CL final.

I believe you are allowed to break the fast when and if you're traveling more than 80km (...or something like that).

I think that was applicable in the days of yore when one travelled on horses or camels and that took 2 days. Now, 80 km takes not more than an hour.

Had this been a couple of weeks into Ramadan he would be fine. As its day 3 I assume he will struggle. He has options though he can choose to miss a day or 2 and make up for it later or through charity.

Rules are for the obedience of fools and the guidance of wise men.

I was more meaning far be it from Sissoko to ignore the old Koran, he best eat after travelling the big 80km regardless of technological advances.

I’m sure Allah will let him off a cheeky Nando’s. I’m no expert in Islamic scripture but I’m pretty sure there’s a clause in the Quran similar to Sons military service in that if you help spurs win the CL you’ll still get into paradise even if you break a rule or 2.
