He's kept us (just about) in this tie. Probably stopped us being taken apart in front of a worldwide audience too. Full of admiration for the guy.

It's amazing how much better his passing is these days. He's playing it in front of players and to their feet rather than a metre behind them. He's switching the play and pulling off long balls he never would've even dreamed of trying a year ago.

He's no Pirlo but he's lightyears better than he used to be.

Great feet all of a sudden too.

Also, if he can play with that energy and authority for 60 minutes why didn't he start? If Vertonghen hadn't been injured when would we have seen him? After an hour? 75-80 minutes?

Genuinely might be my favourite player now, a truly remarkable turn-around and a real credit to his mentality.

Do you think this beast mode Sissoko is from a parallel earth and Poch somehow swapped them without anyone noticing?

Yeah I know I read too many DC and Marvel comics lol.

Proved me wrong.

Better player technically and attitude wise than I ever imagined.

Literally my favourite player atm.

£30m - absolute bargain.

If we'd have started this game with him and Winks in midfield I'm confident the result would have been different

He's one of the first names on the team sheet these days. Our midfield look like children without him

By far and away our best midfielder, currently our second best player it can be argued too

Not sure about that Winks has been nearly as good this season and one of our best players, certainly our best passer. We miss both and look alot better with both in the side.

Can I just say, on behalf of everyone, what the actual fuck were those first two years about, Moussa?

Legend. Loved his shoulder to shoulder with some ajax player when he came on, sent the poor guy into orbit nearly.

What a turnaround.

Any normal man would have stopped and belly laughed at the victim - to Moussa it was any other normal day. He just continued and mocked the rest of their midfield.

He's a mountain for us these days

Where the hell has this Sissoko of the last 6 months been for the previous 2+ years!? And dont tell me he has been here all along as he just hasnt.

He is playing at the top of his game right now (even when only 90% fit last night) and its very impressive. Certaintly our best player at the moment and long may it continue.

I just hope he can find a goal before the season ends as he deserves the ovation it would get, ideally to put us through the 2nd leg but it would be more fitting if it was at WHL's last game of the seaon. The roof would need rebuilding i think!

What a redemption story, he went from being hardly able to control the ball and looking like a baby giraffe to powerfully and gracefully (at times) running at players and bossing midfields, he is literally everywhere the ball is in the game.

He's gone from being an Arsenal fan to a proper Yid, he has found his home and you can see he is going to be one of those forever Spurs fans after he leaves the game.

Good on the Big Moose.

What worries me is that the way he is playing a really big hitter doesn't come in for him. A PSG or spanish giant offering him silly money and turning his head.
He really is carrying us at times, he is a giant in all sense of the word.
