Clean sheet is important but i think say a 2-1 win is more vital. Need a lead to take there although I appreciate that the reason we beat Man Shitty was the lack of their away goal.

.
There is no way in this competition that winning 2-1 at home is better than winning 1-0. Until they change the rules, clean sheets at home is a vital ingredient.

I think he meant a 2-1 win is better that a 0-0 draw as taking a lead to Ajax is more important.

I think we will try and get him fit for the first semi final. Let him rest up until then and concentrate to get back for that game.

It did, thanks to the ridiculous transfer windows
Or perhaps injuries that you can't account for. We many times had the two back up centre mids injured, you can only have a certain number in the squad so buying players would have had to fit into the numbers. The only other way is to have extra youth players who are ready to step in.

Huge miss. How many cogs can you take out of the spurs machine before it collapses? This match is looking tougher and tougher.

We went into the season knowing that Winks, Wanyama, Kane, Alderweireld, Dembele, Rose and Lamela had a history losing big chunks of seasons due to injury. Alderweireld and Rose have fared better than we could've hoped for, but as we know all to well, players that have generally had a good fitness record have had huge problems as well.

Injuries tend to happen, but they happen more often with injury prone players. Which I hope we'll address in the summer.

Of course I meant 2-1 is better than 0-0 and not 1-0. Id take 1-0 in a heart beat but with our current midfield and with Ajax's vibrant attack etc it will be a tough ask to keep them to a clean sheet particularly as we dont have Son to force them to play deep a bit. We will certainly need to defend deep, they got good pace.

Injuries and suspensions are doing my head in. We are missing Son Kane and Sissoko for the CL semi. It’s not fair

Outstanding tonight. Scared the shit out of the Ajax players. Shame he didn't start!!

What a turnaround by Sissoko.

Outstanding.

He used to play with tunnel vision, not aware of who was around him. Now he can receive the ball, under pressure from several markers, and evade them.

He’s not 100% press-resisting, but he’s a different player in this respect to the one last season.
