I do feel for him if it's long term. The fact that he cut his holiday short to make sure he was back for pre-seasons tells you all you need to know about the lad.

Sissoko injured now. So stupid having to play twice in two days.
It's beyond stupid. I know it's only preseason, the players aren't going full tilt etc. but there's absolutely no reason to play on back-to-back days. Even with the substitutions surely it's taking an unnecessary risk. Hope we never participate in the Audi Cup again.

Don’t think his injury will mean anything. We rarely go into the transfer market just because of an injury.

Really hope I’m wrong though on this occasion

Twisted ankle according to poch
“I need to talk with the doctor now. He twisted his ankle but at the moment I cannot update. I saw when he was leaving the pitch and said to me his ankle was very painful”

Yeah, I can't say I recall us making a purchase of the back of an injury. The club will feel that Aurier and KWP can fill the void.

How very Spursy that we sell our first team RB from last year and then the one we plan on coming in gets a potentially terrible injury! We certainly don’t do things the easy way do we!

Ignoring the injury for a second, he also got skinned on a couple of occasions in the second half. I know Bayern have quick wingers, but there's quite a few of those in the Premier League too, and we always struggled against them when Trippier played. Not going to judge him on 35 minutes against Bayern in a friendly, but he certainly didn't excel tonight even before the injury.
