If he could play, he’d be playing. He was already injured when he injured his hand.
He got the hand injury after he “felt a tear” in his hamstring and was out of AFCON.

Ignoring the injury for a second, he also got skinned on a couple of occasions in the second half. I know Bayern have quick wingers, but there's quite a few of those in the Premier League too, and we always struggled against them when Trippier played. Not going to judge him on 35 minutes against Bayern in a friendly, but he certainly didn't excel tonight even before the injury.
Why?Using a performance against Coman as a barometer of a full back's ability is a complete waste of time.
I really can't believe we haven't even been linked. He's such a great one season stop-gap who would be incredibly valuable just for what he brings in winning experience, professionalism, and mindset/winners attitude. If a long layoff then two words for a one-season fix/backup free agent blah blah
Dani Alves
Much like when Ferguson brought in Blanc at the age of 35 who helped deliver them yet another title.
Not if you want to win the CL next timeUsing a performance against Coman as a barometer of a full back's ability is a complete waste of time.
And yet up against Sané/Sterling in the league he was brilliant 1v1.Coman pretty much highlighted the exact type of player I'd be concerned about Foyth being matched up against. Players with a quick turn of pace will always have the advantage on him, and Foyth has shown that propensity to foul immediately when outmaneuvered. Unfortunately, in the fullback position in the Premier League, that's almost guaranteed every game.
There isn't a full back in the world that this won't happen to.

Foyth would be a good fill in at RB to some, is that a serious ? Foyth has no pace, when he gets beat he grabs and fouls, not what we want, rotate KWP or Aurier, if we play foyth at RB we deserve whatever we get. no everything is not about pace but it helps 100%.
