I like Tanganga and thought he looked really promising, but injuries seem to have hurt his progression.

The way I look at it, if he wasn't club trained, would we be thinking he's a top 4 defender currently? I think it's a case of rose tinted glasses as I really want him to succeed, but in the long run, if he can play week in week out and develop, it's the best option for him.

Whatever happens, I hope we have a sell on or a buy back option, as I think with a run off games he'll come good and show those early promising signs again.

Ticket update for Japhet, I'm glad we are moving on both. I'm interested to see what kind of decision we make. I'd love to see Badiashile be the player we go for but I anticipate we may no longer want an update to the left side at least this season.

In that case we sent the wrong one out on loan. Rodon is a solid defender, Tanganga is an accident waiting to happen

I think both will go, but Tanganga is home grown and club trained for PL and CL games.

Could just be squad space issues. But he is 3rd choice RCB, not a Dier back up

that's ridiculously harsh I am struggling to think of any real howlers he made when he has played - I don't think he is really good enough on the ball but he is an honest defender who when has played hasn't really let us down

out of the two Rodon is probably the better but that is harsh on Tanga

There were rumours over the weekend Roma were showing interest in Tanganga and they could possibly be true if we have an interest in Zaniolo and Milan have suddenly cooled their interest. However Milan may have cooled their interest if we are only interested in a straight sale or a loan with an obligation.

His red card against palace for a start, but he’s made a lot of errors in general

the red card maybe but he was little unlucky with that as well when you encourage a player to be aggressive that can happen - not sure about loads of errors - he has done ok he is not a world beater by any means he lacks on the ball especially when he was asked to fill in at full back (strangely he had his best game there against City) but there have been a lot worse and he is still a baby as a defender and you have to accept a few

Rodon has been ok and I liked him as a defender I can think of few glaring error he made as well but they are young defenders and that often comes with a premium

He was ridiculously bad in the league Cup semi.

I think he suffered from being played here, there and everywhere rather than his preferred role on a number of appearences.
It really annoys me when Managers do that to young players coming through. Like its not hard enough already to break through.
Happens all the time.

Remember the same happening to Onomah. He was highly rated too when he was a youngster.

so were the other 10 as I recall
My Membury ain't what it was, but I think he was the worst. He was at fault for both goals. Second one is possibly harsh to blame him.
Saying that I don't think he's terrible. He has good physical tools, and with some coaching, and a run of games he could be decent.
