If push come to shove we’ll just pay the original option with us already having the contract agreed with Kulusevski.

There’s no worry unless it’s us who decide we don’t want him

The only player on loan from Juventus that could be redeemed is Kulusevski , but on one condition: a discount is needed. A year and a half after the agreements made, Tottenham play downwards to acquire the Swedish class of 2000, who did well last season (since January) and a little less this year. The obligation to acquire the player would have been triggered if, in addition to 50% of his appearances (made), the London club had qualified for the next Champions League. Instead, due to a disastrous championship finale, we now find ourselves negotiating again on the transfer fee.

IT DEALS WITH — Juve would not want to give up the 35 million agreed in the first agreement and could at best influence a small part of it in the form of a bonus, Tottenham offers a net discount of 10 million: at 25, however, the player returns to the base, also because he has a transfer market and could end up in any other summer scenario. The dialogue is open: Kulusevski in London no longer has the sides of Conte and Paratici (who had sponsored him) but in these eighteen months he has also had the opportunity to be appreciated by the other managers and is particularly appreciated by the club president. The negotiation is open and the willingness to meet each other can lead to a positive conclusion of the deal: but Tottenham must raise their offer.

Great boost for the player, that. Dick about and show uncertainty about wanting him. Bet he can't wait to get started in preseason.

We are the biggest dickheads in football arent we, constantly trying shit and talking bollox.

Literally the one guy in every group that nobody really likes, everyone mugs off behind their back and no body ever takes seriously. In the whole world of football, thats Tottenham Hotspur.

If we lose Kulu I'll be devastated. He's such a great young talent as we witnessed, before the injuries.

We better not fuck this up. Lessons have been learnt....etc.

On the other hand

Any chance Ange doesn't really think he fits so would rather that €35m went elsewhere?
That's the sense i get. We'll take him if the deal is discounted as he's a useful player but he's perhaps not Ange's first choice so if the price isn't lowered we'll move on.

If he is not Ange’s first choice - just move on. Getting him cheaper won’t make him what Ange wants
