He's the only winger at the club and the only player who can play rwf, if we don't sign him it leaves us even more work to do.
I like Kulu and will be a bit gutted if we don't get him but let's face it, none of us know how Ange is wanting to set up or what he wants in his squad.
Maybe he'd rather spend that 35m on other players.
There's so much that's up in the air at the moment, this really is one window that we shouldn't be too quick to jump to conclusions.
Would I keep him? Yes I would.
Does Ange think he's the best use of 35m? Fuck knows!
No, and I totally agree, I was saying as much in the front page thread on this.To me - that's not the issue here.
If Ange does not want him - fair play. Tell the player and Juve, and move on.
If Ange does want him - fair play. Sign him at the agreed upon option.
Negotiating for a lower price than the option just feels like the actions of a small-time club. Its also not the best way to build relationships in the relatively small world of global football.
Maybe this ties in with us trying for Harvey Barnes.
Ange does prefer pacy wingers
Yeah he does. He has a decent engine. Just not sure his pace is enough.I think he presses and works hard though. If the other players around him are pressing he'll be fine.

It's just another narrative that we're difficult twats to deal with, constantly trying to change things in our favour.
I'm just trying to find another angle on this, probably to make it make sense!
Yep. You get a feel for where a negotiation is going early on. It's normal to try and get some anchoring in place.Shock, whole load of panick for nada, I’m sure we knew Juve were willing to negotiate before we rocked up to the talks.
You want a bit of Conte to go with that?Would rather have Kulu than Postecoglou, if it was a toss up.
Damn you Levy!
