But they haven’t yet so we do have bargaining power atm
I’d take a guess that a few teams that finished top half would happily take him for 35m, all it takes is for one of them to show an interest and we don’t have any negotiating power. We wouldn’t know for sure until any deal is done though and for how much for.

Not sure who we could get to replace him for that much money though without looking at players that aren’t as good.

For what it's worth he wasn't included in the departures in the player update just now.

Probably means nothing mind you.

If push come to shove we’ll just pay the original option with us already having the contract agreed with Kulusevski.

There’s no worry unless it’s us who decide we don’t want him
He's not the high energy mobile type that Ange seems to prefer. Him and Kane in the same team might be too much?

I'm actually pissed off that we even tried to negotiate downwards.

No doubt someone will try to defend it saying every deal needs to be negotiated etc etc but in this case, the deal was negotiate and agreed 18 months ago. We're already getting him for below his market value. In a market where Brentford and Leeds sign unproven youngsters from Germany for €25-30m, Deki at £35m is a steal.

If a club had an option to buy a young talent who was on loan from us for less than their current value and tried to negotiate downwards, Levy would not even consider it for a split second.

Negotiations are a normal part of football but when the deal is agreed and the player is well worth the fee agreed to then you surely just pay it.

To be fair 35m euro is a lot of money for the 9th richest club in the world to pay

Put it like this... if Kulu was our player would we accept 35M Euro bid to sell him? No because he's worth far more than that.

Decent RWFs are hard to find. We would be mad not to take up the buy option

What on earth is going on with this deal? I thought we heard a couple of weeks ago it was all done? Why is everything such hard fucking work with that twerp Levy?

One big part of kulus game is his tracking back and work rate.

High pressing is often a term thrown about, and seeing it on here a lot, without considering what it actually means.

It's not about high octane sprints to close someone down, but more about the tactical know how of when to trigger a high press and making sure that the entire team is doing its job.

Kulu is a good, prem proven winger with the potential to grow and develop. We aren't going to get a similar player for equal money, so hopefully Kulu feels like we are the team for him due to his bind with the squad already, or it's a move I feel like we are going to regret down the line.

Kulu was superb for the first six months but there is a reason Juve did not want him and it is not all to do about their financial position - maybe spending £30M+ blocks the path of one of our youngsters or maybe Ange wants some thinking time
