I do & he's got as much right to voice his opinion as you have. I'm not going to criticise anyone for their opinions whether they are the same as mine or not - what right does anyone have to do that?!

Just because someone has different opinions to you doesnt mean they are wrong or care any less about the club that you do.

Some of the things said to our own players is sickening. Shoot me down for saying it, but we're not the best of fans sometimes. Even Gazza in his book described us a 'Sing when your winning' fans. When things are going well, we'll support the team bitter end. when it's not we get on players and managers back. the majority are so fickle and it makes me sick.

I think all fans are like that depending on their stature and history.

for example, Bolton are a nothing club, for a few years they were just happy to be here and their fans sung, overtime they got used to routine finishes in the league & all of a sudden now they're in the shit they're getting on the team's back.

I don't know any sets of fans that don't go a bit quiet when they're playing like shit and underperforming.

definately, it seems that when man utd were loosing out to chelsea twice in a row, the crowd were alot quieter. When they won it last year, they think they are the dogs again.

One thing i dont like about utd fans is their massive ego when they do win things.

This is true. i think our achievements over the past three years have been brilliant. think about where we were, i think 2 5th place finishes and a carling cup is great, and i certainly am not going to bash the team this year, when it's clear Jol was undermined, a new manager came in, we had a pre season training program mid season, some key injuries and we qualified for europe in feburary. if we didn't change things from the star of the season we could have really been in the shit, and then we'd be moaning wouldn't we

I don't think Jenas has been that bad this season. I could tell you a number of players who have been worse but why open up another can of worms. I know it is difficult to get behind the team with the dross they have been playing but it doesn't help much when they are being abused left, right and centre. Anyway COYS!

Just have to look at this forum to see how bad our fans can be, we win one game, and we expect to be top 4, we lose a game and all our players are shit and we are going down. There are other teams worse than us, but at times we can be up there with the worse of fans, kinda disapointing at times, even a good performance with a loss means the team gets slated by some, some people just fail to see the bigger picture and only see scorlines

You're right - there are other teams who jeer their teams - West Ham and Newcastle probably being worse than us. But don't you think there's a difference between going 'a bit quiet' and abusing your own players?

United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Everton, Villa, West Ham, Newcastle etc..

I've heard them ALL jeer their players & winge and moan when they play like cat piss.

it's nothing new and it's not just us. I hear it at lower league aswell.

everyones trying to make points about the thread itself, and all you are doing is trying to argue that my posts are not valuable. Even though theres only like two of you.

Its the only reason i dont like SC is because of annoying tarts like you.

What i say is my opinion. You have yours. I dont disagree with urs nor agree. But collectively i like to read everyones posts. Sometimes my opinion changes after reading all posts. *Oh and so much for ignoring me*

Now shhh

I never said I would ignore you. I like reading your posts. :)

As long as you don't give the players abuse during games, you're alright with me.

One survey had Spurs fans as the 2nd noisiest behind Sunderland fans. So we can't be all that bad.

While a bit of verbal is no harm if the player isn't making an effort but then unfortunately some take it to the stage where it ceases to be productive.

Confidence is big thing in normal life and more so in football. Consistent abuse of a player should be considered to be Anti-Spurs and offenders should be told so.

Supporters should support.

i dont because if i was a player and i heard things like that i wouldnt have the right focus on the game. But with pro's it might be a bit different i dont know. I leave my opinions for the journey back.
