Like at Wigan i just say things as i see it. Daws continually kept pumpin the ball forwards to no one, so i slagged him off for it, but then when he got caught out of position then recovered to make a great tackle i applauded him. As for Berbs i did here people slagging him off but i thought he gave a lot more than he did at Blackburn, he was left, right, deep, taking throw ins. Some fans will always have their favorites, players like Keano and JJ are the Marmite of Spurs

I think it's fine to express a certain amount of annoyance, but there's no need for "slagging him off". It depends what you mean though.

No slagging him off was probably the wrong word, it was more of a 'oh for **** sake stop hoofing it!'. Sometimes it is hard especially the way we are playing at the moment not to say negative things. I think just with the current situation and the way most of the players are performing, fans who are travelling all the way up to Blackburn, Wigan etc are going to be a bit more vocal if they feel the players aren't giving it their all. Some players do get it more than others that is a fact, the amount of people that call Berba a lazy **** then the next minute he does a flick and he is a god again, thats what Berba does and has done for two seasons, deal with it!

they probably acted like i do when i went on thursdays to watch us play european football (well try to anyway)

The thing is, if it is anything like i have to do.... im at uni in pompey... it costs just under £30 to get there.... £60 for a ticket, £10 for food etc....

All in all about £100 a time. For a student thats a hell of a lot of money, i dont mind paying because its spurs HOWEVER!!!!!

When i go to White Hart Lane, the game is usually awful, we concede terrible goals consistantly, and there is always one individual player who is playing, but would rather be at Faces Nightclub that put in a good 90mins of work.

I probably had more effort in actually getting to the ground than they do having to walk around a pitch for 90 mins.

Jenas is always a main cullprit, and usually every game is someone else.

It then leads on again to the inconsistancy threads. The fact is about 70% of the team seems to be elsewhere. Ramos knows who they are, and will be indentified when we turn on skysports over the summer and see their name just signed for west ham or some other crap team which is where they belong if they cannot be arsed to play a decent game for a lousy 90mins for a club like spurs.

Pheww, back to studies!

Si - it's all about opinions but that one makes me want to cry - I don't want to fall out with anyone but please please try to see this is so clearly not a fair assessment of JJ who probably runs more than other player in the team - maybe zoko excepted and surely anyone can see that JJ is a lot better footbaler than zoko

our fans are like no other. bitterness(built up over years) runs through our club like a disease. the damage is done. hopefully the next generation of spurs fans are more optimistic and supportive.

Wrong.

All football clubs have fans who are delusional, obsurd, un-realistic, impatient, annoying, obscene, rude, offensive.

if you think its just "us", well you have not been watching properly.

Was it a mere 3 days ago the west ham fans were booing off their team after a VICTORY?!?!?!?!?!?
Newcastle fans chanting "you dont know wot yopu're doing to their manager after about 10 games?!?!?!?!
Just 2 examples, and im sure there are more.

yes your right it is an opinion. I was using him as an example, i dont think he is good enough for spurs, neither is zokora.

If we want to get top 4, we need to get rid of the inconsistant players. There is a reason why people are singling out certain players week in week out!

Its not about being a bad supporter, its about the team showing some respect that we pay thier wages (in theory).

Just becasue you run around alot, doesnt mean you played well. What about the consistant poor passing, the lack of goals? The 'cant be bothered' attitude to getting back and helping defence?

Like i said, those people were probably in my situation. A long way and alot of money, to see hardly any effort.

Well I was at the same game as you lad (after a very busy afternoon), and I thought our lot sang well for the most part. We definitley outsang them (ok, not much of a spar), and it was only when we conceded that our voice fell away. Up till then we were out for a jolly.

In truth though, we're fucking rubbish till we get some tough signings. Roll on another tread-water season.

we conceded in the 13th minute!!!!! so we outsung them for a whole sixth of the match.

Be fair mate. They massivly out-sung us. They were excellent. we were good up until they scored, but fairly quiet after that.

"he used to be shite, now he's alright, walking in a heskey wonderland" I pissed myself.

They had songs for most of the team, and they took the piss a lot of people in our crowd.

Si this what you wrote

'I probably had more effort in actually getting to the ground than they do having to walk around a pitch for 90 mins.

that's nothing to do with JJ's ability you're saying he walks around the pitch for 90 mins - which JJ more than anyone clearly doesn't do

only one half of their stand on the left hand side of us sung, there was a core group of maybe 200 that were signing for much of the game, but hey, they've got a lot more to sing about.

I felt we were on a par with them for most of the game, that core group were more interested in looking at our reactions than watching the match.

Yes, your right Kendall that 200 or so in the left hand corner were mostly scroats just trying to wind up our lot, at Bolton its exactly the same but they are in our right hand corner

FIRST of all, it says "THEY do having to walk around the pitch" meaning the team NOT JJ in particular.

I think you need to read properly first, and secondly not take the 'walking' so seriously. I dont think the team would get far if we walked around. Would you prefer if i put LAZY instead of Walk?

I like Jenas, but not good enough like many OTHER players. :shake:

I think that's fine. Just as long as you don't start calling him a ****.

Oh, and si_yidarmy, I don't think anyone likes your opinions.
