Here take your pick mate.

You're right tho. He hardly makes any errors.
For someone who claims to watch Man Utd a lot you seem to have missed quite a bit.

So apart from his first year ( which I've already said was dodgy) he has made about 5/6 mistakes in 5 years and been voted Man U player of the year in 3 of the last 4 and named in the premier league side of the year at least twice as well

did I not see at least 1 amazing save from him yesterday? Balances out, the guys allowed an error every now and again. For every point he costs us, he gains us 12. Move on people....

That is absolute nonsense.

You genuinely could not be more wrong.

How can my personal opinion be wrong? Fair enough you don't agree but you can't say I'm wrong because you see it differently

That's got nothing to do with making mistakes.

Because you said he makes more mistakes than the other keepers you mentioned which is incorrect, that maybe your opinion but the fact is you are wrong. it's evidently clear you haven't been paying attention to the others because you wouldn't have said that.

Of course it does. Do you think he would be voted the best keeper in the league and player at Man U if he was making lots of mistakes?

I'm not saying he makes "lots" of mistakes. I'm saying he makes mistakes, like all players do. Nothing more.

Have you got any evidence to back this up?
I'm not going to pretend that I watch the other premier teams as much as I do Spurs but what I've seen of cech de gea and courtois I can't recall as many mistakes that cost goals as lloris does.
Look I'm being very harsh on lloris as as I've said he is a very good keeper but imo he needs to makes less errors and improve with his passing and kicking to be considered world class as lot on here already think he is

If you don't watch other keepers then how have you come to the conclusion he's not world class, that makes your argument redundant.

I've already mentioned the De Gea mistakes against Stoke and Chelsea this season, Cech has made errors against Bournemouth and Man City, frigging Courtois's keeping for Alli's 2nd header was poor, Im not even gonna bother with Schmeichel because it's actually embarrassing you've even put him in that class ...these are just from the top of my head from what I've seen this season.

The fact is that he's considered world class not only by Spurs fans but by his peers as well, if you want to knee jerk after 2 uncharacteristic errors that's up to you but if you're going to make such a claim then you need to get your facts on check and your facts are wrong, sorry.

Christ the amount of points this guy has saved/earned us over the last few seasons and there's people digging him out after one dodgy match ?
He's more than fucking earned the right to throw a couple in and have a howler IMO.
Legend.

Not sure evidence will convince you as you appear quite set against Hugo but here goes

Article said:
Hugo Lloris has been the best performing goalkeeper in the Premier League this season and among the outstanding players in his position in Europe's top leagues, according to the CIES Football Observatory

Maybe a recent study by World in motion on handling

What will it take or are you set against Hugo?

So no you don't have any evidence to back up your claims and your passing your opinion as facts.
Not sure if there are any stats for goal keeper errors?
You mentioning a few mistakes from each keeper proves nothing.
The term world class gets banded about to easily world class means he would get into a world 11 in my eyes and he clearly wouldn't .
Fair point regard schmiechel, I do rate him but lloris is much better.
It's not a knee jerk reaction either I have had these thought on lloris for a while and have said so on this site before

I'm not set against Hugo at all (as I said numerous times now) I just don't rate him as high as you guys I guess.

Bravo is 2 places above lloris in the best world keeper list, shall we offer city a swap? :)

Huh? I've just given you evidence right there, feel free to look them up the matches are all over the Internet.

I've mentioned mistakes from those keepers because you said that Lloris isn't better than them, I'm trying to prove to you that all keepers make mistakes, just because Lloris made 2 errors it doesn't put him at a disadvantage to the rest when they are also capable of making errors, that's the point.

I agree about the world class term it's subjective fair enough but he is considered one of the best goalies in the world by many (not just Spurs fans)...It Seems knee jerk to me, why are you piping up now and not after the Leverkusen match when he made that unbelievable save off the line, that's the very definition of knee jerk.

Fair enough. Obviously all keepers make mistakes my point was that lloris make more than the keepers I mentioned

I'll not say anything assumption but more likely a surety .

If we were to put Lloris up for sale I'm pretty confident that there would be a long queue of Europe's biggest clubs vying for his services.

Tells me all I need to know. Not that I can't see his ability in any case.
