And what? They are supposedly interested in getting him, i mean, we are supposedly interested in getting Gvardiol. Doesn't mean they will get him and it doesn't mean we will get Gvardiol. But there is interest and im fairly sure we had ITK in the past Tanganga was available.

I mean, that would be the dream wouldn’t it? Gvardiol, Davies, Dier, Bremer and Romero is a perfectly balanced set of 5 to compete for the three spots. Sanchez, Rodon and Tanganga could all be sold to raise funds.
Not that I think it’s going to happen! It’s gone quiet on Torres but if we added Bremer I think it’s more likely we bring him in for the LCB role with Lo Celso going there. I don’t think Torres is as good as Gvardiol, but if Bremer came in too we would have an amazing set of options overall IMO. Torres, Davies, Dier, Bremer, Romero. Come on Fabio, make it happen!

It just feels similar to our forward 3 options. I think we spend big on one centre back and one forward then get a cheaper 2nd in each area. Not sure how much Bremer would cost but I guess it's too much in addition to Gvardiol so more likely to be one and a cheaper 2nd (Lenglet on loan). Also not sure how much Paqueta would cost and whether we could get him and Richarlison for example. This one just feels too expensive to allow enough left for other signings. I think we could maybe stretch to get Bremer and Torres with Lo Celso going the other way. That's the best centre back combination I think we could do realistically. Gvardiol would probably cost what the 2 would together, possibly even more.

I know the name has popped up a couple of times loosely recently but aren't we getting a bit carried away with this one? There's no real evidence to suggest we'd be willing to pay what they want for him and RB usually end up giving players future release clauses when they decide to sell.

I def feel there is an element of 2 + 2 = 5 going on based of a report saying we were interested cropping up around the same time Trix mentioned new pathways in the Raphinha thread. I just can't see us spending £70 + mil on anyone this window regardless of position. Happy to be wrong tho, he's obviously a big prospect.

But then you could literally say "and" to almost every single link in every thread, thats what the transfer forum section of this forum is. Discussing links to players partly form ITK's and partly from the press.
And as for relevance, I didn't introduce Tanganga into the conversation I was merely responding to another poster but regardless of that i would think what defenders we are selling does have some relevance on what defenders we buy.

Yeah, I think we are going to push LCB and a significant investment at that position until next summer (Maybe January if it becomes a huge issue). Sounds like Gvardiol could be more available next summer (Let's be honest, Bayern will probably sign him anyway), Bastoni's future could be a little more up-in-the-air, and there's always the potential of a new LCB breaking on to the scene. I don't think we are as interested in Ndicka as I feel like we probably should be, we haven't heard much about Badiashile and Torres has gone really quiet, too. Outside of those guys, I'm not really seeing us linked to anyone that feels like a more permanent solution.

Reading the whole thread it seems he is available but only if we cough up the required fee. Which is always the case! It is being speculated that the fee is £60million, I think its more in the £80million plus region to be honest. They have no need to sell at the moment
