NLD is special but you won't go too far wrong with Chelsea and West Ham either (as long as we win), you're on a win win really
Ya tough choice, maybe I'll come up on a bunch of money somehow and go both times.... But I won't :/

I take it you live in Brooklyn, Portland, or Minneapolis and wear skinny jeans. Fair enough.

More than 90% of them were killed by smallpox in a time when pathogens weren't even a concept, not by intentional means. That is an extremely depressing rationale for not celebrating a wonderful holiday, especially when on that day everyone involved did in fact have altruistic intentions.
Na lol haven't worn jeans in years, I grew up in minnesota and now live in the forest in Oregon though, so close with the location ha.

I don't celebrate any holidays, not even my birthday, its not as depressing as it sounds. Technically Europeans brought the smallpox thus being the perpetrators ;), but I see and recognize your point. I just don't appreciate using the people (that we systematically depopulated, and either lied about or broke virtually every single treaty we had with them) as a symbol of coming togetherness. There aren't even enough Native Americans to do the silly parades, they just dress Cubans up in feathers. Like celebrating Columbus day, just weird. I'm not hating on people who do use it as a day to come together, but to use the Native Americans as a major symbol just rubs me the wrong way.

Lol that's awesome about calling it, but I'm glad you took the jest well.

I sympathize when the argument my good man, don't get me wrong. As a kid, I was beyond fascinated with Native Americans. I still watch movies or shows with them featured and still wish they were still around. Yes, they were treated extremely poorly by many white men over the years, but the fact is the settlers did not intentionally wipe them out, and that is a difference which must be accounted for. Yes, the Europeans brought over the disease, but without concept of pathogens at the time, they can't be blamed. They got us back too, as they introduced syphilis to the whites, and that shit spread like fire over Europe, killing many and causing many congenital deformities.

I'm not a big birthday guy either, but I fuckin love Thanksgiving. My absolute favorite holiday in truth. Only one which can't be infected by materialism (if we wanna get hipster with it ;)), as it's all about food, family, and football.

So anyway, therein lies my reasoning, why you should wait to go in March :D

Haha man I can't stand football anymore, grew up with the Chargers(Ryan leaf), played it and all. Probably stopped couple years after Ladainian left (I get warm and fuzzy just thinking about the man) game has just become so boring to me, takes 3 hours to watch a 60 minute game, and only about 13 minutes of it the ball is in play, if they did away with all the TV timeouts it would improve hundredfold. Something that I am so dumbfounded on, the TV timeout, how a sporting organization (not only the NFL) would let its game be dictated and completely affected and formed around a commercial is beyond my comprehension. Footy is really the only sport I can stand, I always have a soft spot for hockey as it was my first love growing up. Would have played soccer and be a Spurs player right now, but growing up all I heard from family and friends was that its "gay", and a "girls sport", which is a bummer because I love playing it more than anything.

I suppose I don't have a problem with the original settlers and their intents, more of just the way natives were treated since, and societies willful forgetfulness of it.

But I'm leaning November as its sooner, partial to wintery football for some reason, still a couple derby's, and more opportunity for cup games, although would be cool to be in all competitions in March

My bad had nothing to do, well I did but just chose not too. Instead I did something I haven't done for years, scraped my piece(gross) and wrote a haiku

Flower meadow
Bowl is in site
Junk drawer

Like 500 or something huh? If you had to guesstimate, what do you think would be ballpark for Chelsea and west ham games?

If you get in early enough you will probably get a ticket fo £100... If we are playing shit in the build up probably face value ;) ...

Ye, it's a priority thing. Goes gold, silver, bronze, lilywhite, general sale I think. By the time it get's to Bronze which I also have it is sold out. I unfortunately haven't been to either of them. They will let you know when they go on sale I don't know exactly.

That's why I suggest November worse case scenario you'll get an EL match which I like, saw the Rabona and Kane hattrick and keeper game for cheap. If you go in March if we're having a bad season we could be out of the cups.
Fook it, just did some math, if I can stay disciplined with spending and don't die I can go both months....coys bitches
