I went first option. Those matches will be incredibly hard to get as they will be in demand but worse case scenario you get EL games, which is what I mainly go to as I like going evenings after work.

2nd option will be again near impossible for home tickets against Arsenal I sitll have never got any, and if it's your first game you're going to want to at least get to the lane so no point going Villa away.

Go November. The weather's lovely that time of year.

West ham home. Norty.

Whenever I've seen us play west ham we get our pants pulled down and I haven't gotten over the last few encounters yet.

Have a good one whatever you decide.

How hard is it go get arsenal tickets or Chelsea and west ham? Is it basically first go to season tickets, then bronze, then lillywhite? Just wait in the queue online and hope you get one? How longish before matches do tickets go on sale?

You won't get one one through the ticket office if you haven't got membership

Pick the one with the most home games. If you're gonna buy membership you'll stand a chance for any of the home games, but you'll struggle for away matches with no loyalty points.

Ye, it's a priority thing. Goes gold, silver, bronze, lilywhite, general sale I think. By the time it get's to Bronze which I also have it is sold out. I unfortunately haven't been to either of them. They will let you know when they go on sale I don't know exactly.

That's why I suggest November worse case scenario you'll get an EL match which I like, saw the Rabona and Kane hattrick and keeper game for cheap. If you go in March if we're having a bad season we could be out of the cups.

make sure you have your account all set up at the site, and be up and ready when they go on sale - typically 4:30am eastern. once the clock ticks over, go. if you wait more than a few minutes (for the Arse, anyway), you could miss out. but so long as you're on top of it, you should be able to get a ticket for any home game.

something for consideration: make sure that your credit/debit card won't block international purchases. these days, some (I know Wells Fargo are like this) will not authorize purchases in the UK unless you have activated a travel agenda (in other words, you must inform them that you'll be using the card out of the country), as a protection against fraud/theft. the time that it takes to place a rejected order and then call to authorize international purchases on your card and then re-order your ticket could be enough to cost you.

as to when they go on sale, the official site will list the sale dates/time for both members and general sale for each game.

as to your original inquiry, I've always found Autumn better than Spring for scheduling multi-game visits. once the Europa group stage fixtures are set, you'll have a handful of scenarios with two matches inside a week. the Thursday/Sunday thing also leaves you a full slate of Saturday fixtures to choose from, on the chance you're inclined to take in any other league (or non-league) games. though nowhere near as satisfying as watching Spurs, English footy culture can be enjoyed differently (less stressfully, perhaps) at some different venues. I can't recommend Griffin Park highly enough.

... then again, I like Kenilworth Road, too, so you may not want to look to me for the best way to use your Saturdays in blighty.

If you can go to an away EL game I'd recommend it. Go a couple of days before.

IIRC when tickets go on sale to Bronze members, there's only around 1000 tickets available and a day later the rest go on sale to lilywhite members so if you miss out on the first day, give it another go the day after. I've always managed to get tickets for all games I've wanted: Chelsea, Arsenal, Champions League so you should be fine. Tickets are on sale 9.30 here and I'm always logging into the queue for around 9-9.15 just to give me a headstart. You have an half hour, I think, to complete the sale so even if you're in early you'll have time to find seats and buy.

I'd go for the Arsenal game, I think there's always a better atmosphere than a Chelsea or West Ham game. Also it's highly unlikely you'd get tickets for West Ham or Villa away without any loyalty points. Maybe a slight chance of Villa.

Arsenal is worth it mate, go for that IMO, also it depends on your budget as you can get tickets for any match you want on stub hub- usually 50% or more over face value though saying that you can get reasonable ones sometimes too

I wanna go to that match pretty bad, was gonna go last year but money was a problem, still didn't stop me from getting smashed and tearing up as Kane made his lap lol. Seems to be better options for a couple week trip in November tho with cups etc plus still two derby's

NLD is special but you won't go too far wrong with Chelsea and West Ham either (as long as we win), you're on a win win really

Haha I don't really celebrate the genocide of a race with a day that acts like everyone got along. Kind of weird that is, gravy and rolls are good tho

I take it you live in Brooklyn, Portland, or Minneapolis and wear skinny jeans. Fair enough.

More than 90% of them were killed by smallpox in a time when pathogens weren't even a concept, not by intentional means. That is an extremely depressing rationale for not celebrating a wonderful holiday, especially when on that day everyone involved did in fact have altruistic intentions.
