Fully expecting Levy to demand £100m, Utd happily paying it and Harry wanting to go.

And I really, really think that will be the best for everyone.

I just feel this whole club needs a completely fresh start. IMO Harry needs to either signs up and stay forever this summer or go, we can't be going on like this.

And I stand by he has been one of the constants through all this, I don't think we would fall off a cliff without him as much as others think. I also believe he will realise the grass isnt always greener

Since we lost Berbatov to UTD (same year we won a trophy 2008) - Kane has come through, broken our all time goals record, established himself as one of the best strikers of a generation, without winning a trophy and UTD being on a decline and now we are potentially selling Kane to them. That is a damning indictment of Levy's reign on the footballing side of this club.

That will surely hurt.

Agree. I'll be as devastated to lose him as anyone else and i don't want him to go, but he has my full support if that's what he wants to do. He owes Spurs nothing.

We have sold world class talent before and survived and we will do so again.

My preference is to hang on to him for another year.

£100m won't go very far anyway, particularly with our haphazard recruitment.

In an ideal world we keep Harry and if he decides to leave on a free (provided it's not to a London club) I'd say he's earn't that much of a pass if Levy's not going show the required backing and staying the **** out of football matters.

If the stars aligned then one of our youth forwards would be in the wings stepping up ready to go as at least a decent squad member (realising getting lightning in a bottle twice is slim) this is yet another area the club has been poor, Parrot and Scarlett should've been out there playing mens football for two or three seasons now.

We're in 4th (probably 6th 7th by the time GIH are played) and that's with Harry's goals, I shudder to think how much worse off we'd be without him hence I disagree with cash-in on him; the other reason is I'll put 5p on on all those saying cash in being amongst the first to moan and say ("top clubs don't sell their best players") to further the point would you rather this club had Harry Kane here next season or trust this chairman/board/transfer committee with a 100 million to get us a striker and midfielder to replace him?

If they do sell the new manager won't get 75-100 million to buy 2 or 3 new CB'S, a GK, a LWB and a CAM + the 100 million to get a striker and midfielder; they'll be lucky to get the 100 million to fund all of it but the board would say "we reinvested the Kane money into the squad" on 4 average players.

We already signed the replacement
A replacement who hasn't scored a league goal yet. We definitely would need another striker and another goalscoring wide attacker too. We need a few up top capable of scoring, Richarlison will he with a run of games but can't be certain that he'll score enough. The other concern is the Son drop off so we need another scorer regardless what happens to Kane. Then another forward if Kane were to leave.

I do get that levy without investing heavily has been a problem, but I don’t think the lack of trophies is purely down to investment.

we have been in prime situations to win trophies and i would say top players not
Turning up in cup finals/semi finals, poor team selection -(son wing back), Lucas after heroics not starting and 1/2 fit kane starting instead (also not making subs early enough).

we have been in a strong position to win the league - again poor decisions, managers and players making stupid errors and decisions. Throwing points away from great positions - saints this season, West Ham (Jose), Chelsea (poch)

is all of that levy fault ? In recent years we have invested heavily in the squad - 1/2 windows - nothing - but I remember itk saying poch wanted certain players and no compromise - if the player does not want to come or has a better offer - Barca what then?

yes levy has to shoulder some blame but I also look back and think we have had several chances to win trophies - and have thrown it away on the day.

if we are going down that route it would be better to get rid of all the old guard. Issue is can you see them doing that then buying in good quality younger players in enough quantity. We’d have to proper for for it.

Queue lots of salty comments about trophies and penalties online.

I don't get why he doesn't get respect.
