I still say he'll give us one more season, then go where he likes on a free transfer. It's the only way he'll get it done smoothly without Levy fucking it up for him.

Haaland will go to Real in 2024, and Kane will go have a second career at City. Calling it now.

One of the most damning things about the ENIC reign is the failure build a team worthy of Harry Kane. We have a generational striker probably the best striker England and club ever had and as you all know they don't come around that often.

I can't believe he has stayed as long as he has. He has to look back and have major regrets.

On the trophy cabinet maybe.

But Alan Shearer had no regrets about joining his club, Newcastle despite the lack of trophies other than his solitary premier league win with Blackburn.

You mention that we've failed to build a team worthy of Kane. Shearer played regularly with some absolute tripe: Shola Ameobi, Aaron Hughes, Andy O'Brien, Titus Bramble To name a few. He still smashed goals in left right and centre and still holds the one record he probably thought would never be beaten.

Kane might regret the lack of trophies in his career, but at Spurs where you say he plays with players who aren't worthy, he's probably going to break Shearer's record, he's already broken Greaves's club record, and doing all this with players who aren't worthy has seen him become England captain.

Some absolute wank players have won more than Kane. Yet despite some of the amazing forward players that have been in the Premier League, he's the only one who looks like he may well beat Shearers record.

That's more incredible IMO.

I think this will only happen if he wins a PL title either this season or next. I can't see him coming over here and leaving without one.

The annoying thing is with our squad I genuinely don’t feel we’re that far off competing with Kane up top.

We absolutely need a couple more centre backs urgently as perhaps that’s impeding our play worrying about defending behind them.

And a goalkeeper, although Forster has done well (we’ve been linked with a few and it’s quite obvious that we’re scouting to bring one in during summer).

Another creative midfielder would also be a bonus, but the main thing is the defence.

I had a dream the other night that City sold Haaland to Real Madrid and bought Kane. So, now I'm convinced that is what will happen because of something my brain made up out of the blue while I slept.

Yeah I could see that. Maybe Pep finally calls it a day and Haaland gets out after he's won a few trophies here.

I know Pep's denied it, but I bet Haaland does have an escape clause from City of some kind. Mbappe has made sure not to tie himself for too long to PSG and given his player power I don't see why Haaland would commit to City for 5 years without a way out after 2-3 seasons.

As much as we all love him there are many better teams than us who don't have Harry Kane playing for them and they often make us look like we've never seen a football before let alone kicked one accurately. If/when he leaves it will be the end of an era but also a new opportunity to push on.

Do you think he'd rather a PL winners medal or being the all-time top scorer?

Most players are remembered for their Goals, like shearer, Lampard, Owen etc. in my opinion.

Of course trophies are important and I wouldn’t mind if he decided he wanted to leave for that. But on the other hand England, Spurs & Premier League top goal scorer and a statue built outside the ground sounds better to me, he would deserve that if he does stay.
