We already signed the replacement
Yeah but we'd need another. The realistic options for me would be to go big for Goncalo Ramos or even better Julian Alvarez might not be completely unattainable, if he believes he wants to be the main man. Some like Vlahovic but while I think hes a good finisher Im not that impressed with his overall game. I like David a lot as well and he could play in other roles too. And lautaro Martinez is always worth considering.

I actually wouldn't be upset with Mitrovic, and certainly was thinking hed be a good player under Conte. But considering things are likely changing probably wont be a perfect fit for a new man.

If its Poch or a pressing manager Ramos would be perfect.

Why would he go from Napoli to us?
Double the wages. He is on 100k a week at Napoli, we pay Ndombele 200k.

The issues with Osimhen will be meeting Napoli's asking price and competition from other clubs.

I’d rather we bought Evan Ferguson from Brighton.

He’s going to be a real star and already reminds me of Kane in his style of play.

I also think Donley will make it here as a striker.

I’d buy Ferguson and keep Kane for his last year and help develop Ferguson more.

I’d sell Richy to get Ferguson.

Ferguson is such a talent but would make sense for him to stay at Brighton for a number of seasons before going to a bigger club.

He will still be 18 when next season starts, so he has all the time in the world to get his move.

Then buy him and loan him back.

we need to be more proactive with buying talented players.

KK and KMJ at Napoli could have both been bought for about £10m each but we weren’t sure of their ability to play in the EPL.

why not buy them, see them first hand and loan them, much like Arsenal did with saliba?

Alex Scott is another talent.

ugarte at sporting is another gem.

If it were someone like Poch then I'd definitely go for Ferguson. I'd keep Richy though. If you wanted a player to execute the high Poch press with aplomb, its Richy.

There was talk that Juve were considering selling Vlahovic, and eying Richy as a potential replacement.

Perhaps sell kane, swap Richy for Vlahovic.

Then use the money on Ferguson and Mitoma/another attacking player.

Do you think he'd rather a PL winners medal or being the all-time top scorer?
Shearer was taking about this the other day and said that people often come up to him and have a pop about him only ever winning one trophy. No one has a go about the premier league record. He said Kane will be remembered as Tottenhams record scorer, the premier league record scorer and Englands record scorer. One medal won't change his legacy.

I will say it’s a bit odd our talisman striker is nowhere to be found here. That said, I’ve been accepting of him leaving for some time now.

Probably just covering our bases as nothing is certain yet? Better to not have him there and he stays than have him there and he leaves. It will upset the fans over there who expect to see Kane as he is on the poster.

It’s just a bit unfamiliar to see media without him. It absolutely makes sense, as you said. Definite indication to me that his probably of leaving is higher than ever before 🫤

With the manager situation not being certain as well, it's the safer option to go with three who will likely be here for the tour. I doubt even Kane has decided what he wants to do, and I doubt he will decide until we have the next manager in place.
