Premier league players are incredibly overpriced for sure. Smart teams will buy mostly overseas and spend big on homegrown quality which seems to be the city model...Or Premier League players are just incredibly overpriced and not worth it when they don't have release clause/1 year contract/financial problems. So this isn't being cheap, it's being smart.
Eze is very good and homegrown. Not someone we should baulk at for an extra £10m over an equivalent foreigner (Kudus etc.)
