If he was 22 with his current skillset I’ll be all over it. But at his age how much more can he develop? Good player but no need given who else we have.

He can easily adapt and play on the left. When he was coming up for QPR he played as left winger and only moved more centrally once he moved to Palace as they had Zaha on the left.

Good player but seems complete overkill when we have Maddison, GLC and Solomon who'd cover most of what he'd bring. Porro will probably get minutes wide right as well. Get the important stuff done first imo.

Super talented young man, the kind of player that would hve you salivating alongside Maddison in midfield. We are stacked in midfield but if he’s available and we can get him then it would be hard not to.

One of my favorite players, he can play in multiple positions and he is HG. Insane stats on Fbref for people who care about it too. Have a feeling Levy will wait until January or next Summer when he only has 1 (and a half) year left on his contract and gamble it.

Definitely one we should go for. Was incredible yet again today, can play as a 10, can play RW, LW and possibly be trained as an 8 if he wanted to.

I dont know if this is allowed here or not but I saw one of the admins post this guys info on a thread last week:

On that Spurs ITK hub one of the 'ITK's' there (Chandler) has said the plan is to go for Orban, Eze and Douglas Luiz.
To sell Kane and not use the funds on another decent CB would be criminal. You cannot have a stable football team with car crash centre backs. You could have Mbappe, Haaland and Kane up front it doesn't matter.

Difficult one for me as I really like him, but I just struggle to see where he fits. I know people will say things about competition for places and never have too many good players, but is he a wise use of funds? I’m not sure

If he’s available for anything in realm of 50-60M (I highly doubt it unless secret clause), he’s an absolute no brainer. Can play anywhere up top or midfield other than striker. An absolute unit and very skilled.

there’s just zero chance he’s available this summer. Palace will get relegated without him.

If he was doing what he’s doing now aged 22 in the prem we wouldn’t be linked. The big boys would be banging 100m on him.

7 key passes is scandalous

It does seem he has gone to another level i.e. the elite level recently. He’s been absolutely sensational in the past 3-4 months of PL football for Palace. I think maybe this guy would be a great signing whether we are well stocked in his favoured positions or not. A player as good as him that can play LW, 10 and 8 to a really high level? That’s a pretty damn useful player, whichever way you wanna look at it!

Yep. Not sure he’s so similar as any of our other players that some make out tbf. Long season, gonna be high press from minute 1 until minute 99+ what with the new time watch. 5 subs a game means anyone drops energy levels which they will then it’s an easy sub. We’ve never had enough of cover for any position apart from bloody rb. And that wasn’t at the same standard. Great options is where we need to be. Because 1 or 2 injuries and we will be screwed. Like when Bents got injured last season. Nobody put step in. ( apart from Sarr but the helmet they call Antonio wouldn’t play him 👊)

CAA Base client.

Seems dead cert we’ll sign him next summer when he has 1 year left on his contract and leverage our relationship with his agents (same situation as Maddison)

Anyone know how much palace would want? I think they would ask for around 70m, but is there a release clause for him?
