he is perfectly inoffensive, does nothing bad, does nothing great. Much like Gylfi or Clint in that respect.

He is not the future Spurs on the left wing. But he could be decent cover for whoever is.

Would be disappointed if Rose/Chadli are our planned left wing options this season. Happy for both to be cover though,

Well put, I agree.
If we were content with a Europa League place they're adequate, but to win the league - we need better and I think Chaldi, and I'm not talking just about these games, I'm talking about his previous club performances - not good enough for us. My opinion, so beg to disagree

need a 4th option in the poll, a little less extreme than useless.

its clear what you want people to choose, but thats not really the point of a poll.

Sorry, he's a slower Bentley. LOL Is that better for you?

He is shit. Rather play Lennon on the left any day of the week. He was a squad signing.

Never seen any magic from him in any given sense apart from the goal he scored against us. Seen him plenty of times for FC Twente and Belgium.

He has a good first touch, that's where it ends.

I would be over the moon if i'm proven wrong, but I don't think I will be.

FFS, we were once a club with great fans, what the fuck happened?

Bit unfair calling Clint Dempsey useless. He did a job for us, probably what the management expected of him. I don't think they expected him to be a long-term solution.

Chadli seems to be a solid perfomer. Nothing extravagant or flashy. Probably will do a job over the course of the season without pulling up trees.

I do think though, like Dempsey, he won't be here long. Considering he seems to be our main LWer and (AVB has played Lamela, Towensend and Lennon on the right), and we that we have a £7m player on one wing and a £30m player on the other I suspect the inbalance will be corrected sooner rather than later.

Dunno. The default setting seems to be you're either: a shit club with good fans or a good club with shit fans these days.

I think the truth is we've always had a minority of moaning twats. I remember my granddad telling me about the abuse the likes of Perryman and even Hoddle got at times. :D The internet give these numpties far more exposure than they deserve though.

he has good approach play, not sure about him after that. dembele is kind of similar in that regard, hence whey he's best playing as a cm.

Needs time to settle but the pressure to get into the CL this year is massive and competition fierce, it doesn't seem. IMO that AVB is identifying our problems. It never seems to matter who Arsenal pick, they always seem to play incisive football and create clear chances, in 3 games we've scored no goals from open play and not just that, we haven't looked like scoring one either... that's a worry and although the players need time, that time is time we need to be getting points.

This isn't quite true, we have created good chances against Palace and especially Swansea, maybe not enough but they have been there.

I think people better get used to this as we change from a team that shares possession and at times a counter attacking team to one that is going to dominate the ball and faces 'parked buses'.

Been quite surprised and a little shocked by chadli comments this weekend and again today. Seems quite a few are fed up with him already.
Some people are fucking stupid. Some are spoilt brats. Some have a sense of entitlement. Some aren't happy unless thay are pissing and moaning. Some always have to apportion blame or have a scapegoat.

These are just some of the reasons why anybody would be criticising Chadli - or any other player - after just three games with a new team in a new country. Whatever their reasons for slating him, they can fuck off.

The title of this thread is truly awful, surely there's another way to express this.

Quick feet, good control, works hard and looks comfortable on either foot. He will need time to adapt to the pace and tempo of English football, and to our style of play. I think he'll link up nicely with a ballplaying midfielder like Eriksen or Holtby.

I would imagine Townsend could jump ahead of him in the pecking order early on while Lamela takes up the right wing. We've got good options out wide. I would certainly rather have Chadli on the left than a Sigurdsson, Holtby or Dempsey out of position on that side.

Sadly some our fans make following our great club a total pain.

Luckily some will drift away when window closes and the new school term starts.
