I don't get why you would 'hate' any player who played for your club. Unless that player was El Hadj Diouf. Or Robbie Savage.

Everyone should hate Robbie Savage.

I kinda hated crouch to be honest, supported him of course but was a tad embarrassed by him

It's definitely not a word that should be associated with one of our own players, not nice.

Milner was great against Bayern away this season. He's a very very good player. Not quick, so people don't get as excited by what he does, but he's a very solid footballer with a great delivery and good reading of the game. I think he's get more praise if he was Jaime Milnero.

Spot on mate!

Yup. Unless the guy was a total ****. Disruptive whilst not being particularly talented, vile on the pitch etc. Kind of like a Charlie Adam, a Michael Brown or a Ben Thatcher... those types of ****s should absorb hate.

If we are going to play 4-3-3 it really helps if the wide front players can score goals . I just think Chadli and Lamela are more likely to do that than Townsend or Lennon.

Yes, that winning goal at Man City and those finishes against the Milan's were just shameful. We should have struck them off and pretended they never happened. Would never have had our best season of football in 20 years without them mind, but at least we could have held our heads high. o_O

I used to like Michael Brown for us... did well alongside Carrick that season. And Charlie Adam's a thug but if he plays for your team he can't half hit some spankers.

Agree re Thatcher, or anyone from that self proclaimed 'crazy gang'.

I think Townsend can adapt his game to be more of a goal threat, but he'll have to learn not to shoot from range so much and work as part of a team. Lennon has very little goal threat at all, and barely takes on his man nowadays, and this is why he'll never be suited to a wide forward position. Townsend has the confidence to take his man on and has the pace and trickery to do so, he just needs to learn to use his options. If he can get himself into good positions and lay it off, even for a give and go, and get himself into the box, he can be a real threat. With a player his age it's all about the coaching. I hope we get it right.

Didier Zokora was the most recent name I dreaded reading on the team sheet. Absolutely dire player, not helped by being the Carrick replacement. I remember the 5-1 semi final when Tainio had the match of his life only to be left out in the final. Zokora was sent clean through with just the keeper to beat and you just knew he was going to miss.....

I agree but I had a soft spot for him. The player now I dread being on the team sheet is Siggs.
