This isn't an award for the best player this season.

It goes to the player who's been "least shit", and Lloris is one of very few who's actually done pretty well, so it has to be him. He hasn't been particularly "good" though, imo, just better than the others.

We've lost less games with Dawson in the team than without him. We've conceded significantly more goals when Dawson doesn't play a crossfield ball than when he hasn't. We have had more posession when Dawson makes a tackle than when he hasn't. Dawson is athletic. Dawson is strong. Dawson is gifted. Dawson is a super player with everything needed to win the games. DAWSON!

Almost impossible to choose in a season of underwhelming individuality. Adebayor has been the stand out but for 10 games. Lloris is probably the only viable candidate, almost by default.

Hugo was a really mixed bag tbh.

He could have been sent off two or three times and his kicking is miserable. Surely he saved us some points but I expect that from him.

Sadly no one had a season above his standards.

If I have to nominate 5:

- Eriksen
- Adebayor (2nd half of the season)
- Lloris
- Walker (first half of the season)
- ...Chiriches (for the goal and the United game)

The fact that Lloris is being spoken of so highly (in relative terms) is a damning indictment of the performances of the rest of the squad. Hugo has been good, but nothing overly special...his kicking is especially dire; he makes Gomes look like Beckham in this regard.
