After the last few seasons the voting has been pretty much one way but it will be interesting to see who everyone is thinking of voting for. For me I'm thinking it's between Lloris, Ade and hmmm, you see it's not too easy, I'm bamboozled.

Nominations?

I thought this would be the case but with a few games to go, Eriksen could possibly do enough and Walker could be on many people's radars.

Not sure Eriksen has done enough over the season even if he has an incredible end to the season.

Walker could be in contention to be on the list, but I think that's more down to everyone else having poor or patchy seasons. Cant see past Lloris to win it with maybe Ade and Sandro coming second and third.

Not a lot of good candidates this year. Lloris and Walker spring to mind immediately, and Adebayor and Eriksen deserve a mention too.

Hugo was a really mixed bag tbh.

He could have been sent off two or three times and his kicking is miserable. Surely he saved us some points but I expect that from him.

Sadly no one had a season above his standards.

If I have to nominate 5:

- Eriksen
- Adebayor (2nd half of the season)
- Lloris
- Walker (first half of the season)
- ...Chiriches (for the goal and the United game)

When I saw the title I thought lloris then walker.
Heaven forbid anyone mention daws, they'll break the negative rep count....

He's in my top five though....

Adebayor surely has to be considered. I know he hasn't played half the season, but without his goals in the last few months fuck knows where we'd be.

Lloris has my vote unless something crazy happens like Eriksen scores 3 per game and we get CL. It would be nice to have a few solid candidates for a change though, I wonder if City fans are all voting for Aguero? Maybe it's just normal for teams to have unanimous winners? Utd under Fergie would have had a number of players to pick from.

Ah, the accolade which is about as illustrious as winning a 'tallest dwarf' or 'least annoying scouser' competition. Hugo should win with ease tbh- can barely think of any competition?! Maybe Ade since AVB left? Walker has had a decent season IMO. I don't really think anybody else deserves a mention if I'm honest

Lloris has a moment in every game where his brilliance can be the difference between 3 points and 1 or 1 and none. Top man for me.

I'd have gone for Vertonghan. His constant smile and 'can do attitude' will edge him over the winning line ;)

Yeah - you're probably right...Lloris it is then.

Adebayor is the only one to have performed at a level you expect your player of the season to be at.
But then again it is the question whether you can give the award to one who's only played half a season.
Lloris and Walker are the two other options in my opinion.
Lloris had a dodgy month or two but have been overall good this seaosn.
Walker was solid under AVB, form taken a bit of a dip since xmas and there's been some fitness issues lately as well.
Not much to choose from.
