It's true though. Both walk into any other starting 11. Sadly one has to sit on the bench for us

Trippier is an incredible option to have, but in my opinion Walker is one of the best right backs in the world right now.

I know he gets heavy criticism from some quarters, but he's improved in almost every area. Trippier is much better at crossing, but Walker is better in almost every other area, and has actually improved with his crossing.

De Gea
Valencia Alderwotsits Vertonghan Rose
Pogba Dembele
Eriksen Alli Martial
Zlatan

Valencia / Walker and Zlatan / Kane have hardly anything in between them. Just needed to get some Utd players in there tbh.....

I want to offer condolences, because i have never witnessed just how devastating dementia can truly be until i read that post.

Post-match from The Hornet's Nest:

That was like watching your favourite pub burn down

Never expected any other result. Spurs, as difficult it is to say, are a superb team.

They are a bloody nightmare going forward, a very good side indeed. Shame, because apart from the capitulation we played well in spells. Certainly for the first 20 minutes.
Alli is a spiteful prat.

Chin up lads, much as I hate them (well their fans really) spuds are up there in Bayern & Barca territory, better than Chelsea IMO.

Spurs were a class above today, and are infinitely better than us in every respect. We did our best for the first half hour, but once they got their first goal, it was difficult to see any other outcome in all honesty. We also did well to keep it to just 4-0, as Spurs could have had several more.

Spurs were so clinical and class all over pitch.

Some of our moronic supporters need to realise that NONE of our squad would get in the starting line up of the Spurs side. That being the case, our chances of beating a team that is still fighting for the Premiership title when we have a makeshift defence are remote to say the least.

Totally expected, essentially Spurs just turned it on and were better in every position.

I'd love to have seen someone go straight through Dele Ali and end his season, he's a little rat.

We were always going to lose this heavily today, especially with Kaboul, Britos, Prodl, Behrami, Capoue & Deeney all missing from the starting 11 - you need your full string out against opponents of their quality.

We matched them for the first 20 mins. Then they turned the screw. Nothing about us sitting back on purpose. They forced us to. They're an excellent team. Currently the best in the league. They scored with four excellent strikes too which even they would be unlikely to match on a regular basis. I saw nothing at all to suggest we'd reverted to uninspiring hoof-ball and a lack of spirit. Just a continuation of the improvement of the last two home matches. Sometimes you just have to hold your hands up and recognise we were well beaten by a very good team.
How good is Trippier going forward? His crosses are superlative. He doesn't even seem to need to control the ball first (normally to be advised) but just catches it right first time, every time and whips it in. He did struggle a bit defensively early on against Niang though. But having Walker and Trippier in the same squad is almost unfair.
Pochettino has quietly developed a superb team without any need for histrionics. I really hope the Spuds catch the robber-baron, bauble-boys on the other side of the city but unfortunately I doubt they will.
I enjoyed the walk in the sun between Bruce Grove and WHL. Pleasantly cosmopolitan without being tacky.

Beaten by a far superior team yesterday, thought we looked alright for the first 15-20 minutes but after the goal went in that was pretty much for us - Spurs dominated and won comfortably, like they have done all season at home, nothing to be ashamed of there.

Spurs are incredibly good this season and losing to them was almost inevitable.

Can't stand their fans, billy big potatoes and the worst performing of all the big clubs over the last 30 odd years. Even little Watford got a 2nd spot in the old first division in ' 83 so spuds haven't bettered our best finish in 34 years! Can't farkin stand them although I concede they are very good at the moment.

Why they hate our supporters?

Liverpools net spend is so low because they're spending all their money on extending contracts.
Their wage bill is now higher than Man City's.

Yeah pretty sure Milner's wages would make him our highest earner. No transfer fee, massive wages.

Then there's Sturridge who pockets a hefty pay packet despite being the forgotten man [seriously Dele has more league goals this season than "England's most naturally gifted striker" has in the last three seasons.]

Where's the irony mate?...Did I say it was bad thing?
The irony was you saying that Liverpool haven't spent money on transfers but they've spent money on extending contracts.

Whereas spurs haven't spent money on transfers..........

Still not seeing it, they're now doing what we've been doing for a while, how's that ironic?

If I was poking fun or taking the piss out them for that approach then maybe, but I wasn't.

Loved the comments on the last few pages, It's hard for some to give praise to this Spurs team, so respect to the fans that have been nice to us and the way were playing at the moment.

One thing I am baffled about though is how the pundits can all say Conte is the best in the league over Poch. Neville was nice enough to say he loves Spurs and were his favourite team to watch at the moment, but the rest are all pro Conte, surely they must see just how much of a better job Poch has done ?

Agree completely, it's absurd how inheriting a title winning team who threw the toys out of the pram last year is and having them seven points ahead of a first choice xi who's average starter cost south of £10m is deemed manager of the year stuff.

Don't get me wrong, he's done well to have them performing again and has a system which nobody (except us) has had an answer for but he's not a miracle worker, in fact I'd say he's produced the bare minimum he should be with the resources he has.

He supposedly wants to buy English players these summer, so no wonder he has an eye on Walker, Rose and Alli.
Could we lose one of them - possibly
Could we lose all three - not a chance in hell

They are under contract
They are our rivals
They can f off

People still forget we have Levy, if we were considering bids, which I presume we are not. The costs will be astronomical.

Alli would be over 100m
Rose and Walker would be pushing 60m.

To a rival? Add 30m per player. Infact if City are serious, I believe Levy would ask them to pay for the stadium.

I love how much we boil peoples piss at the moment LOVE IT ! Nothing makes me happier than talking to opposition fans and watch them try to justify why they have such a skewed opinion of our team, they just cant admit we are good ! I LOVE IT
