I’d take signing this guy over any of the other players we have been linked with, other than maybe Dybala. The RB position concerns me that much and I really rate this guy. He’s got buckets of talent. Poch gets the best out of 95% of the players he gets his hands on. The thought of what he could do with this guy is mouth watering

Sounds like a winter window target to me. Offload Aurier (and maybe KWP as well if he can't prove himself) and get this guy in.

Can I ask - how much would Atal cost?

My view is and ive stated this in the Sess thread that Sess signing is so not a priority and can wait till next summer... why not put the 30m towards this guy Atal... which in my view is more of a priority.

Hate to sound like that handsome, charismatic chap populated by ladies of every persuasion but has there ever been any solid ITK on this? If not, why the catpiddly fuck would anything happen this late in the window, when we’re struggling to land GLC, someone we’ve been courting for months

A message from Ronan Keating to Daniel Levy:

You say it best, when you sign Youcef Atal.

He looks absolutely rapid but with no ITK links it’s probably not worth getting too excited

Right Back should be an absolute priority for us, we are simply not good enough there as it stands and am astonished how we haven't been linked with anyone as yet.I always thought this player was one we should be in for. Fits the bill for me.

He's good on Fifa so I approve, sign him up for whatever they want.

No but seriously, I'm quite concerned going into the season with Aurier who is injury prone and KWP. Foyth will probably not be back in the squad until October and even then might need to build up his fitness.

For what its worth, I think KWP should be given a chance but I'm not convinced he is what we need to be pushing for the title, I'd rather he was the backup.

Foyth will be back at training in September, and remember international break. He probably will miss additionally 2 gw + 2 suspended

We’re not gonna be pushing for the title this year

Yet Liverpool managed it last season and the season before that finished below us
Isn't "putting the pressure on" but ultimately failing exactly what we've been lambasted for in recent years (unfairly, I might add)? I can't see Liverpool repeating last season but I can see Man City churning out c.100 points for the third season in a row.

I've just been thinking over the last few days that there would be some in logic in other teams keeping their powder a bit drier in terms of spending until such time as Man City aren't basically guaranteed to win the title (Guardiola plus unlimited funds is a perfect storm).
