Benitez would be dull, and i'm worried that FDB would be too.
I don't think Benitez will be dull. He will treat each game differently and will certainly not let us be open but I don't see the football being boring like it was under AVB at times.

Benitez is a proven winner with 3 separate teams in differing circumstances and has done well at Napoli. For me he is the best bet. His age allows for a long stay if successful and he will have the respect of the players. Yep Benitez for me.

What's the fuss about Tuchel? Never heard much about him.

Kind of new Jurgen Klopp. Like Klopp massive achievements at Mainz 05 with low ressources.
His character reminds me a bit of Jose Mourinho. When its not going his way can moan all the day but is also pretty smart and you kind of like him.
Good motivator.
Was a not so succesful footballer and finished his business studies after his career before starting as a choach.

Would he be able to work with "wannabesuperstars" and some pussies around here? And then on english?

I would give it a go and take him as quickly as possible.

LVG or Ancelotti would be first picks, I would love to see a young manager like De Boar do well but the EPL is a fucking touch place to succeed with any team never mind us at the moment.

What's the fuss about Tuchel? Never heard much about him.

He's currently managing a team 7th in the Bundesliga after achieving an incredible 13th place in the two seasons prior.

He is, however, young, handsome, well dressed and doesn't shave which seemingly are incredibly important criteria.

Benitez for me. Safe option, experienced, a winner and would get the respect of the players.

Benitez not for me either, not because of the quality of his management, but just because the fans will start booing him after about 5 games when we are boring........

Surely we would be better off going for the guy who is 6th..

This has gone on so long now I'm past caring. Voted Martinez because I either know little about the others or they're uninspiring.

Whatever happens I hope we don't fuck about waiting to see what Uniteds intentions are before looking after ourselves. LVG isn't the be all and end all.

I've been undecided for a long time since we found it wasn't going to be LVG (fucking United ****s). But i think I've finally made up my mind.

Obviously LVG number one choice. Then Martinez. Then Ancelotti. We're not going to get any of them.

So Rafa Benitez for me. He's got probably the best possible track record of anyone we could realistically get, and despite his reputation for defensive football, his Napoli side have been playing some very nice stuff on the handful of occasions I've seen them this season.

He knows the Premiership, he doesn't stupidly fall out with players for no reason, he can handle all the pressure in the world, and he would probably be in a position to get the very best from the likes of Soldado and Lamela.

Whether Napoli will let him go I don't know - I would expect a hefty compensation payment would be required. But he's got it all.

I highly doubt we'll get him though, as we've barely been linked at all. And Spurs are very good at getting the leaks out to the press that they want. I actually expect us to start next season with one of Sherwood, Potchetino or De Boer in charge (of whom I would like FDB most, but not much).

But yeah, Rafa for me.

Was he your #1 pick before he got the Everton gig?

Either way, do you realistically think he would leave Everton after one season where they finish above us?!!! More chance of Ancelotti!

Firstly I wanted him before AVB. Was very impressed with what he did at Swansea and Wigan and really liked him as a person.

Secondly, I'm pretty sure I did say it was near to impossible.

If he's a selection on the poll, I will select him as he is my personal number one choice.
