If it were possible, like if an amazing virtual reality universe could be constructed, which trophy-winning Spurs side would you choose to play in?

The 1961 Double winning side. Playing under Billy Nick alongside Blanchflower, McKay and White?

The 1972 UEFA winning side, with Gilly, Chivers and Peter?

The 1981 FA Cup winning side, especially watching Ricky's gorgeous, mazy run and shot in the final

The 1991 FA Cup winning side playing alongside the boy genius, Gazza and watching that shot in the semi?

I have to admit, I can't help thinking I'd love to play in the 1972 UEFA Cup, mainly for being in a side that knocks in 15 goals in a single tie, but really, it's a toss up between the 1981 and 1991 FA Cup for me.

61 double winners. Pretty much did everything that was feasible at the time, and benifca v tottenham in the european cup semi was a sliding doors game. Had we gone on to the final who knows? Besides play against Eusebio ...oof that'd have been quite something.

So unless we do the double again, and go one better and win the champions league, that has to be the team for me.
The only thing thatd top it is winning the champions league, stuffing arsenal in the super cup, and winning the world club championship in 2021...
Now if kane and friends did that, we might have another runner, and rider in this race.

Scrap them all for one game in the current team, such a tight bond and close knit squad but mainly as I want my own Sonny handshake :bag:

Jol's revival team, with Keane, Berba, Ledders, Woodgate, Davids, JD, Azza, Carrick, Robbo etc etc. Only I wouldn't have left for the "boyhood dream" club because I was already there.
