Not that i don't rate vdv...but i think harry has failed to use him properly, and will fail again next season.

Harry hasn't failed to use him properly. He would get a C for his efforts to use him properly. Nevertheless, VDV is a world-class player and you don't sell your best players if you want to progress. Also VDV is our top scorer with 15 goals this seasons and has plenty assists as well. Selling VDV is unthinkable.

I really do think that if Spurs Community is going to qualify for the web forum Champions' League then we need to overhaul the squad. Posters like BBLG have put in a good shift but are they really good enough to help us win silverware? Think of the money that comes with European recognition. It doesn't help that our Chairman Rob won't pay wages to attract the top world-class posters to SC. How can we compete as a result? I've played Web Forum Manager on my PC and as a result have put together a list of names of the best posters in the world that we should be after. If only the powers that be at SC would listen.

His record this season is decent. 12 in 22 playing for Espanyol. That's more goals scored than any of our current strikers. From looking at youtube he is very berbaesque. If we can get him for the reported 12m I think its worth a gamble.

Yeah got a bad feeling your right about this, if we are in any sort of position to get Marin then we should do everything we can to get him as he is a truely gifted footballer who (when combined with Modric) would be keep so much posetion and create so many chances for us it would be untrue.

However I can see Harry thinking he can bring the best out of Joe again and you only have to go back to some of the numerous reports that were written last summer to get Harry's feelings on him. I really hope I'm wrong.
