He’s played 3 professional games for them and he is the best in the league it’s utter madness.

I remember when a gooner friend of mine said Kolasinac was the best left back in the league after just three games for them so making such outrageous claims about their players after three games is no new thing.

Every time i bring this up too he conveniently forgets he said it, and same thing happens when i remind him he said Walcott was better than Bale.

I used to work with quite a few gooners. One particular goon would bang on no matter what that, Wait for it, Rob Holding was the future of England football. ?

Forest Fans seem fairly confident of a win or draw against us on their forum.

They don't seem to rate us at all or have any fear of us. Not even any talk of our front 3 or anything.

They think well bottle it a their place.

Hmmm. I mean, it's not that they are definitely wrong, but I suspect they will be

Which forum did you look at. The forum I checked (https://www.forestforum.co.uk/index...am-hotspur-sunday-28th-august-16-30hrs.50685/ ) seemed full of tongue in cheek posts which ended up going a bit ‘inception’ where they started talking about what The Fighting Cock forum was saying about their forum. But overall there was an even mix of predictions.

I can’t say I took much from it, other than relief I don’t live in the East Midlands.

I did wonder if Forest fans were still bitter about losing the 1991 FA Cup Final.

Turns out they are...

Good for them!

They won't be in the prem very long so let them enjoy themselves.

Think it's justified. They've had the better of us in the Premier League era. Never felt confident going to the City Ground.

Think a lot of opposition fans are writing us off cos we've had a couple of iffy games.

Fine by me. Makes it all the more satisfying when we click into gear.

I suspect their results have given them a false sense of security. A very lucky win against West Ham (who haven't scored yet this season), a 1-1 draw with Everton (who have been really poor for a while), and a 2-0 defeat against Newcastle (where Newcastle had 23 shots on goal).

They have almost an entirely new team so they are unlikely to have anything resembling a system of play and they are unlikely to be that we'll drilled defensively seeing as they are still adding more defensive players.

In all three games they have had less possession, lower xG and fewer shots on goal. This could be a hiding if we have our heads in gear

Considering they have so many new players they have impressed me with how coherent their play is. They are very resilient and tough to break down. Manangla(?) and O’Brian in midfield have been impressive.
Steve Cooper is a good manager and will have a plan for us.
We can’t afford to underestimate them.

I have no care one way or the other about Forest. They've been out of top tier football for almost as long as I can remember, yet the chat above makes it look like some of them think they are a force again.

They've spent a lot of money this summer. Might be difficult to intergrate all of them, but they should have enough to stay up without too much concern.

It would be best to politely remind them that -

Stuart Pearce's opening goal should've been ruled out for a foul on Gary Mabbutt in the wall.

Lineker had a goal ruled out for offside while being played on by two players.

By the letter of the law at the time Mark Crossley should've been sent off for his foul on Lineker for the penalty but he was wongly allowed to stay on and saved it.

So if Milford had got those decisions correct, lifelong Spurs fan Des Walker wouldn't have scored the winner (for the team he supports).

And then shout 'ner ner nee ner ner', poke our tongues out and run away.

Forest are a great club and I really hope they stay up and build a good team because clubs like them and Leeds really should be in the top division. Having said that I hope we thump them 4-0 at the weekend.

Yet conte achieved what arteta couldn't despite spending over 250m more and have 2 extra years. They really overrate lego pep.
They overrate him...this month. End of last season they were completely in the mud and having a pop at him, and now they're all back to being "Artetasexuals" or whatever they refer to each other as :cautious:

They're more fickle than even us!
