Based on today I think we dodged a bullet!

Kane has been shit most of the season and turns up today and the "backwards DIY'ers" are raving about him.

Kane had a point to prove to Levy, and he has done that by being shite until now so therefore not worth more than 100m

And Merson says things about us that make no sense which means he's either a bit thick, blinded by his own bias or looking to wind us up. I think it's a combination of all three.

Merson is one of those players that is so cosseted from a very young age he actually has arrested development. He can’t cope with real life outside football as his history shows. If I was, God forbid, a gooner I’d love him, and he needs the love. I do pity him like any damaged person that’s found themselves in the gutter but he’s a now a clown that is there just to entertain us, that’s his entire purpose.
